The beauty and grace of a butterfly incites awe in me. I wonder how such a creature could exist in such an ugly world. The idea of such beauty is what inspires me to create. I hope it will inspire you as much as it does me.

This will be a tournament, much like the other tektek tournaments out there. There will be a certain number of rounds with a different challenge each time. Eleven contestants will begin as caterpillars, but only one will fly as a beautiful butterfly.

I am obsessed with these contests (in a healthy way). I'm running another with two friends, but I was inspired to create my own based upon my favorite things in the world...butterflies. I look for a blend of matching and theme. Even if there isn't an assigned theme it's nice to think that the avi has a purpose.

Fried Salad
I don't look for perfect matching or amazing texture most of the time (unless someone asks how they did with that). I usually see an avatar as something that can be improved, so I'm extra helpful with suggestions.

Autio Ainoa
Good flow, layering & creative use of items are a must in my book. I'm not super obsessed with matching, but it is a plus.

You've been a force to be reckoned with throughout this competition and you really worked your base well. It's lacking in the flow however. Mainly the skirt combo is really blocky. You could have changed the hair too. I was thinking black would have made more sense as an extra color, but you made the ugly base look really pretty and I admire that.

I thought you would do better with the base that you were given. It's got a nice idea behind it, but it's just not pleasing to the eye. There's a bit too much going on. There's orange on the head that you ignored and it's missing green in the torso. Valiant effort, but not the best outcome.

Another great job... I feel that you really have outdone yourself in this contest. The way you captured a demon in the base and how you tied it all together is perfect. I just wish there was more red in the middle.
