Over The Years: An Avatar Contest- Accepting Apps

OVER THE YEARS

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Over the Years!!!
This contest will be based off each year Gaia has be active,
so starting in 2003, and ending with 2012, or 2013, when this contest will more than likely end.
This contest is currently accepting contestants,
I do not know how many yet, but I need at LEAST ten.
If there is more, I need to think of some more rounds,
or there will be more than one entrant eliminated per round.
I am looking for two other judges, I would prefer
people who have had past experience, put yeah, let me know!
Also: if anyone wants to make me pretty banners, I would love you O:
Otherwise, you are stuck with my black simple texted headers, I am quite OCD
with my layouts, so nya!


Oh, and prizes are as follows: Winner- 100k, Runner up- 50k, 3rd- 25k
Winner of each round will get 10k
Anyone who get eliminated will get 5k, that does not include drop outs

RULES


1. Follow Terms of Service, etc. You know the drill.
2. Forms get posted in the thread.
3. All entries get sent to me. If something is only posted in the thread by the deadline, I will take your latest, but 1pt from your overall total will be docked. That could make or break your entry.
4. All Avatars must be original work and not done by someone else, please refrain from using past made avatars as well!
5. Once entries are sent it, that is your final, you can no resend another/edited version, unless stated in the thread otherwise.
6. There is an entry fee of 5ooo, which you will get returned to you if you are eliminated or are part of the finale. If you go MIA or have failed to submit, you will get half of that back, the other half will go towards the winnings. No fee, but anyone who submits, then gets eliminated will get a "booby prize"
basically saying thank you for sticking around and actually submitting and not bailing on me O;
7. PLEASE read the rounds carefully.
8. Dream free is encouraged, but you are also welcome to use your own inventory. Some rounds may have different rules when it comes to this.
9. Any Questions, post in thread or feel free to PM me.
10. Drafts and WIP's can be posted for comments from other contestants.
11. Any base can be used unless stated otherwise.
12. Only one entry per round per person unless round states otherwise.
13. Only use items from each year for each round. No prior or future years
14. I have the right to change these rules as needed (I forget stuff all the time)

ABOUT THIS CONTEST AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

I wanted to make this contest to utilize certain items that came out in each featured year. They will not go in order per say, because I do not want people to "work ahead" and there will also be more to each round than "use items from only this year", etc. So be sure to read each round carefully. Sad thing is, there is really no easy way to tell when items came out, other than RIGs, and MCs. Tektek kind of does a good job of organizing the items by when they came out, putting older items farthest back. The best everyone can do to check is to put the item in question on their wishlist, then viewing their wishlist, then clicking the image icon of the item to get something like this: [x]. I will also be checking for each round. Sounds like a lot of work on my part, but you guys can help me out too in the process, and I love you guys, so it will be worth it to make this contest work. Announcements are below.
