» What is I M P R O v! you ask?
I M P R O v! is a contest I've decided to hold where anyone in the AT forum can compete for a 25,ooo Gaia Gold prize. In this competition I invite 20 of the best designers in the entire forum to create avatars using specific items from a model that will be randomly chosen for them. Designers will use their model's items to make the best looking avatar among each other. Whoever is chosen at the end of the contest will win 25,ooo gold.

__☇ Contest I n f o . •

» How it works:
I'm sure by now you're curious how this works.
You - the contestants - will send your applications to me and I will sort through all of them and pick out 20 people from the applicants. These 20 people will be put into the thread and assigned a model. The way the model is decided will be through the random number generator action. Some contestants may get an easy model, some may pull their hair out trying to find matching shoes. Once all of the designers have submitted their fully clothed, fully tekteked model I will add them to the front page. The judges and I will deliberate and narrow the contestants down to 10. The 10 who continue on will be assigned new models (with new items) to create another tektek. Once the 10 contestants have submitted their Round 2 Models they be put up in a poll for the rest of the people in AT to vote for them. From those 10 only 3 will make it to the final round where they will have 3 models who look exactly the same. It's up to them to make their tektek stick out among the others. When the last 3 tekteks are in I will ultimately have to make my decision on my own. The person I chose in the final round will win 25,ooo gaia gold.

» Judging
Judging by myself and the judges for Round 1 and Round 3 will be based off of:

Color Balance
Color Flow
Creativity
Layering
and finally,
Uniqueness

Each is out of 5.
1 - Horrible
2 - Bad
3 - Alright/Okay/Neutral
4 - Great
5 - Flippin' Awesome!

People with the worst scores will be eliminated.

» Time Frames
When I accept the last application for the 20th contestant I will update the status on the first post and I will give a specific date for the ending of each round. I will also specify when judging, elimination, and the new rounds will start. Keep your eyes out on the first post for all of this information when the contest starts.

» Donate?:
I would love to keep running this contest well after the first "season" but as much as I'd love to do that I can't afford to keep contributing gold for every contest. I'd like to keep this contest "entry fee free" and it'll be hard to do that without the help of other generous Gaians. I'd really like to add 5-10k for every additional season after this one.so the prize goes up even better with each contest. So I'll need the help of you Gaians to keep this contest and the rest of it's seasons alive for a long time.

If you would like to donate, please send a trade labeled "Donation to IMPROV!" to my contest mule, iBeckahh. This is a non-profitable contest for myself and I do not and will not pocket any of the donations.

» You are not allowed to enter multiple accounts.
»You are only allowed to submit 1 tektek.
» You can edit your tektek only 1 time after you have submitted it.
»Post your entry in the thread for Rounds 1 and 2. Round 3 will be PM'd to me. (This goes for edits as well.)
» You are not allowed to remove the item your model has. You are also not allowed to change the color of the item.
»It must be your original creation.
» Once the poll is up you are allowed to vote for yourself 1 time. If you are caught using a mule you will be disqualified. (This goes for bribing also)
»You CAN use the Dream Free tektek to layer your items differently.
» You can add any hair or add any eyes you want UNLESS your model already comes with eyes or hair equipped.
»You can change the gender, or the skin color.
» You can use Skins on your avatar as long as they are not already on another model.
»For those of you with models already equipped with skins you are not allowed to change the skin at all.

~ Overall Feedback - I love how you split the avatar in half. The best of both worlds, monochrome and rainbow. It fits so well together and the colors on are on opposite sides of the color spectrum. It's a refreshing change from the typical rainbow, rainbow, rainbow that most people make when given a base with a lot of color.

Overall Feedback: She risked a lot with that style... You see.. it's a hybrid avi. Some people might hate it, but personally, I really really love it. I know there are many persons around the AT that would maintain this blackneon's tektek as an obvious attempt to get away from the original model, but who cares... the result is astonishing.

~ Overall Feedback - Some of the items stick out, but some of the items you hit the color dead on. It was a little too simple especially considering the base I gave. This had endless possibilities and I was just expecting more for it.
