Totally in love with some of the new items I've gotten since coming back (Under Lock and Key!!!! Hello??? So good) and I love all the new separate items they've added --- individual arm mods especially, but also hairs, bangs, eyes, etc. They were already a thing last time I was on, but there's SO MANY MORE NOW and i am THRIVING

This one got super overworked gonk I messed with it SO long and the core of the outfit was totally lost --- I got my hands on a new Sugarsuite and have been SOOO full of joy about it, and wanted to use it as the center of my outfit! There are so many items, evolving items especially, that i totally treasured for ages, and then past-chuck was like, wow, time to purge every item in my inventory!!! so i've been having to reaccumulate themmmm misery.... i will probably revisit this and try it again,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I GOT THE SACRIFICIAL OFFERING ARMS & WAS JUST, SO OBSESSED... so this outfit started around those! but i also got a bunch of new items that i was super excited about! the wings, Unlawful Son, are sooooo good????? and then i went to look at color variants, saw Wayward Son, and it ******** CLICKED.......... IT'S A GODDAMN SUPERNATURAL ITEM.............. i will never be free. i didn't even watch that show but my mom did so I know ALL of the major plot points & i was on tumblr during the peak of superwholock so i s u f f e r e d......................... i will never be free

FINISHED THIS WIP OUTFIT I HAD SAVED LAST TIME I PLAYED IN 2017....... clearly prominently displaying both old favorites (the horns from primrose grove, the scar from commander nor..norgent? NORGEN., the lucie sleeves, the cuttlefish headphones!! *chefs kiss!!!!* and the wings/tail from mesmerizing dealer...... yes thanks) and new items i've immediately come to love like, tragically, the supernatural wings [wayward son] and Under Lock and Key

I am so enamored with items that change with arm positions! things like the corset from sugarsuite, or in this case, the wings from wayward son + the arms from Kama's Suggestion!!!!! really any arm mod that lets you shift arm positions .... love them SO much. you can do so many fun things with them!

I REALIZED THAT I HAD BEEN ONLY USING LIKE ONE COLOR PALETTE AND WAS LIKE, OK, HOLD ON. you own eleventy billion other items! use those! use some items you haven't used in ages!!! (which is like, all of them, because it has been like 7 years since i played regularly) so here is my nasty little cyborgy fafnir girl. she definitely thinks she's out of your league and is going to laugh at you for it

FOLLOWING UP THE PREVIOUS ONE, this is me using some new and old items in one of my favorite palettes (hello spice orange and brown i love you) as well as blending them into one of those funky autumn palette items (and using the red legs to balance that!)
i use those lil pumpkins in the background maybe a lot. maybe too much. a lot. i love them

LOVE THIS ONE.... LOTS of new (to me) items in it, and i love love love layering eyes and clothes and AUGH so much fun... this one was a betrayal though, because when i saved it, the actual avatar on gaia flipped which eyes were on top it still looked good but it made me Mad

SO.... i swear to god that the lucky chance is weighted to give you items you just bought!!!! i bought Prima Poppet (i love ballet! i miss doing it. i was a ballerina for 7 years and I was on pointe shoes and everything! i miss it.) . i bought Prima Poppet and then within DAYS the game had given me TWO MORE!!!!!!!!!! and so i made this outfit around prima poppet, trying to see how many i should realistically keep. the answer ended up being 2!

Bidding wars. let me tell you about something. i can enjoy a good bidding war. i can. but you knnow what i don't enjoy???? SCALPERS!!!!!! resellers!!!!!!! people who buy the low auctions and then put the items back up for 6 trillion dollars!!! ******** you people!!!! i hate you!!!!!!!!!!! you are NOT going to heaven. i'm not even religious but i'm so certain that if there's a hell, there's a special ring of hell for scalpers and resellers.
anyway. i got into a wicked gigantic bidding war for Toxic Biancareina that lasted for 45 minutes because yknow, every time someone bids it resets the timer back to 2 minutes [if it was lower] and everyone knows the correct thing to do when you win a bidding war like that is to make an outfit with the item. i am a sore winner. anyway. for this specific outfit i wish the armmod was doing an L on her forehead.
This outfit is fun because it's showing my love of face layering!
The visible eyes are from Toxic Cat Breath, which are SO cute, but that item also includes a little mouth that i am not super enamored with for most looks.... so to remove that, usually, I'll add another mouth to cancel it out (Adorkable Bea's mouth, for example!) and then either leave the avi without a mouth or use something like Young Lady's Cameo Compact to add a mouth via makeup! But additionally, It's got my favorite (most used, most versatile) version of Lucie makeup, Young Lady's Cosmetics from Lamenting Lucie, which adds blush and eyeliner (plus a cute little mole not visible with this hairstyle) AND one of my favorite layering items, Student F's eyes - in this case, Venomous Student F - which adds another layer of blush, eyeliner/shadow, and cute little earrings! ANDDDD it has the mouth from Subliminal Spooky Shonen, which goes on top of the little smile from Cat Breath... love that! it has such a perfect gloating expression to it, especially with the eyebrows from Galactic Constable!
ALSO.... IN REFERENCE TO STUDENT F, AND ALSO LOTS OF OTHER EARRING ITEMS/..... WHAT THE ******** MAKES THEM DECIDE TO BE THAT GOLD COLOR? i know it has something to do with item layers, but what specifically I can't figure out!!!!! Gallant Leo is another item I've had the earrings turn gold with, as well as Toxic Jaeger's Chains.... it's so obnoxious! i'll add random necklaces or whatever until they flip back to the correct color but i wish I could know for sure what exactly does it
