In light of recent funding drives and other projects being disbanded due to lack of funding- what does this mean for the future of Project Tickets? Are they going to continue to be released/created, or are they on the backburner currently?

Features
When are the houses going to be fixed? I would love it if the houses had 2/3 rooms in order to decorate. You could release themed house items for various holidays and/or times of year (ie Spring, winter, etc.). There is a lot of potential with the houses.

During the last ATS, someone asked about the daily chance carts not turning to gold after the required log in and Lanzer said

The problem is still not resolved and as of today the daily chance cart is still red despite logging in every day. Here is a thread in the Bug Reports about it and many still have their carts remaining red.

Since the fix doesn't seem to be working, would it be possible to turn everyone gold until they have a lapse in log-ins? Maybe that would reset everything. Just a suggestion....unless something else works soon. It's been several months now. Thanks

The only thing that would miff me about this idea is that the Gaiapledge would be a MONTHLY thing instead of the completion of the drive at the end of this month just to keep Gaia afloat for a few more months.

Don't get me wrong, the idea is pretty cute, I really like it, but if they tie cash items (zodiac starsign items) to the $2.50 donations every month then......what was the point of the pledge in the first place? And what is it for aside from keeping the site afloat? The app?
And what would be the prices of the zodiac starsign items? Would they remain as $2.50 or hike up in price every month?

Just my thoughts.

well lanzer already said he wants to bring back MCs
some people would argue the angel box is basically a reinvention of the MCs, but clearly he doesnt seem to think so if he has stated recently to want to bring them back.

the fact these nametags are 2.50 like the original MCs that he mentioned -- and the fact he released the aquarius one on the 15th, its pretty easy to assume this will indeed become a monthly thing to replace the olden style MCs that were removed.
its easy enough for them to do an easy little nametag and it be sold for so cheap compared to anything sold in the cash shop.

it works, it brings them money, so suspect it to stay, even if they get solidly on their feet.

Question: Do you think you could steer away from the monthly birth stuff? I do enjoy horoscopes, but if I'm gonna pay for a pledge to keep gaia online alive, I don't really want to pay for horoscope signs that are not related to my sun sign. sweatdrop It kind of also feels generic in a way. I do understand that you are all probably a bit busy with putting your focus on bettering gaia, but you could maybe ask us for suggestions on the following months pledges? At least give us something that we'd like to pay for, rather than the focus be on just paying to keep gaia alive... That might be mean to say.. But we are still spending real money that we could be spending on something real and tangible. Besides that, I already am paying to be a monthly angel subscriber and yet it still feels like it's not enough to keep gaia running.. That is very terrifying for me, because I have so much history on this website and I still have a strong attachment to this place... But that is beside the point.. I just want to feel like what we get in return for paying for pledges should be something that shows more appreciation for what we are giving up to try and keep this site running in hopes of your success on making it better.

With the development of bringing in towns 3 and devs working on the gaia app along with other things around the site it would be nice to have an update on lanzer's journal. it's been since before the holidays that it's been updated.

Can you please work on a fix for Guild Forums that will enable the Monthly Fundraising Gift to display on the username as well as marital status? The Guild Forums is 95% of my entire site usage, so it isn't very reasonable for me to keep buying items that will never work for me in the only place I use Gaia. Thank you very much!

With the change on GCash sales, it appears that the Marketplace is shifting rapidly and everything pretty much sells double the ABP price right now.
Aside from that, only the gatcha type of services - Lucky Catch, Narwheel etc. seem to have lowered GC cost.
Will there be any changes to the site to balance the sudden shift in the economy?

I just want to point out while moving offices seems like an easy way to cut down on costs, there are costs associate with moving. There is the time that staff need to pack up offices, unpack, downtime when the move is happening, time to readjust into the new space... it affects workflows and practices, it's a break in routine and in the end it just costs time and money. With Gaia being as tight to deadlines as it is right now I'd say that this type of move is really unrealistic. By trimming down their staff they're already using less office space. Lanzer has said in the past that most people work from home already a few days out of the week. But I also know from personal experience in a work-at-home environment that some things need a good face to face meeting to hash out... especially when it comes to specs or project planning in a tech or development related field.

This is certainly something that they can keep in their back pocket but as a long term goal. It really isn't a quick fix sort of thing. Moving won't just magically make everything better... especially if Gaia can't afford to have their staff out for a week.
