My name is Emma.
My great-aunt's name is Felicisima.
I'm 16, a "junior" if I were living in the States.
I live in Canada. : D
I started "obsessively" drawing at the age of 10 after
I read my first manga book, "Ah, My Goddess!"
I'm still in school, meaning my life is sort of restricted
from being lived to the fullest, meaning I can't draw
all the time.
I'm an inexperienced painter, but I love to draw,
which is why this is just a manga/comic shop.
This is also a commission shop, but that's boring.
My Gaian's currently poor, and I'm a greedy b***h
at the moment, so I'm doing this shop.
I can read Katakana, and Hiragana, but I know
very little Japanese. ):
I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 and a
Wacom Bamboo Capture.
I'm a perfectionist when it comes to art. Honestly,
I'm pretty sure it's an undiagnosed OCD. That's
why even though I didn't want to, I had to pretty
up this shop. I HAD to.

What's a manga?


A manga is a Japanese comic book. Manga genres range from adventure to action to romance and
even boy-love/girl-love (yaoi/yuri), with a wide variety of audiences. Unlike western comic books,
though, manga books are read from right to left (top to bottom; of course), flipping the pages from
right to left, and with the front cover on the left of the book's spine. They're pretty addicting.


Why do you charge so much for a manga/comic page?


Each panel is like a whole commission, thus it takes a lot longer to complete a page, and
unlike usual commissions, I'm restricted to follow the story given to me by the customer. I can't
choose any pose I want or any expression, because it's not MY story, I'm just the interpreter. I
listed prices I thought was fair for my effort and skill.


Can I order anything other than a manga/comic?


Yes, you can order general commissions, such as full body's/headshot's, chibi/anime, or even
pin-ups. (mmm... pin-ups.) Tell me what you want and I'll see if I can (legally) make it. I can't
however, colour your art. (Read the post about me.)


How long does it take you to finish a page?


I would estimate 24 hours if I was uninterrupted and didn't eat/sleep/drink. School is just
around the corner so it'd be chopped up into at the most an hour per day. Then, there's also the
other commissions, and on and on... All in all, I expect a 2-4 panel manga/comic to be complete
in 2 weeks at the most.


How long does it take you to finish a regular commission?


A week at the least with my school-enslaved schedule. For chibi headshot's, usually 30 mins. If
the slots are all filled, it'll probably take a week and a half to 2 weeks.


Are you taking any guest artists?


Yes, anyone who's interested can quote me here and give me examples of their work. I'm also
planning to hire a painter (because of my inexperience).
