Intro

My name is Xelyn (pronounced Zay-Lin), welcome to my chaos! Since I am trying to raise funds to commission art of my OC's, I have decided to offer my own artistic services by opening up this shop. That being said, I will be quite selective over what commissions I decide to take on. If it doesn't inspire me, I will simply decline as politely as possible. I'm afraid my creativity is fickle and I can only produce quality artwork if I have the muse for it. I want to give you guys the best work I can produce, so I will only be choosing projects that catch my interest and that I know I can do justice to. This means it is not first come, first serve. I respond to every request and will let you know directly if I decide to take on your project or not.

Pricing & Rules

• I will only be offering full color head/bust shots like the ones in the examples.

• My current prices are set at a flat rate of 1 million platinum. Tips are accepted but not required.

• While I may accept the alternative payment of an art trade, I do require samples and am selective. If you are interested in this payment method, please indicate so when you fill out the request form and I will discuss it further with you in thread.

• Do not send the trade until after I have accepted your request.

• If I take on your project, I will send a watermarked version once I am done with your piece. I will only send the version without the watermark after the trade has been completed.

• I will only take on 3 commissions at a time. Projects can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to complete.

• I only offer minimal revisions at this time. Any requests for changes that I deem unreasonable will be denied. I still expect full payment for the effort I put into the commission.

Hey, so I just wanted to point out that 1 billion plat is an absurd amount. Unless you meant 1 billion gold, which would be way too low?? Like no offense, but there isn't a single artist on gaia that charges 1 billion plat for a headshot/bust. neutral And the part where you say you want the trade completed before you show the art implies you want the trade completed before you show anything at all. You are required by the mini shops rules to provide a watermarked preview of the art, and users are told specifically not to complete a trade before this happens. It protects both you and the commissioner. Anyway, I had trouble finding a plat to gold conversion graphic, but yeah. You're not gonna sell anything for 1 billion plat here. Maybe you meant 1 million? That would be more reasonable lol, js

Oh goodness, yes, I meant one million, thank you for catching that. It was an honest mistake. I'll edit that, as well as changing the wording of the part about the trade. I definitely intend to show a watermarked preview before accepting the trade, I just didn't think to say that directly, I thought it was implied. But if not, then I can fix that easily enough. I'm sorry, this is my first time opening up a shop, and I am running on very little sleep. Your help in catching those things is greatly helpful. Thank you for pointing out the mistakes! I'll fix them up now.

I noticed your wills included humanoid monsters. Does that include humanoid dragons?

That depends upon the design. If the face has a snout, that would be something outside of the realm I am comfortable with. But if it's more like a human face but with dragon traits - such as sharp teeth or slitted pupils in the eyes or horns, etc... - then I can do that.

Lol, I am going to need to sort through my choices then, because I was totally going to ask for a humanoid dragon with a snout because I don't have a version of him with the intended snout design yet.

I have other dragonoids and some other characters I might throw into the ring, just need to get home first.

Gonna take a little while because first issue is that some of the references that use avis have actually been edited to get the colors I like but also certain other features that simply don't exist as an item, like turning dog-shaped robot ears into horns. So I have a lot of equipped lists to try and remember and put together.

Description: I have a few listed here.

First is a plant alien from a species that grow a giant flower on the backs of their heads. He's absolutely massive, the strongest physically of his entire race, including historically, hence why my basic reference for him has him holding the severed head of a wolf. He doesn't have a nose. The flower isn't a specific kind of flower, but I have always felt that a lily would likely have the kinds of petals that look like the hair I use for the avi.

Second is actually a Homestuck OC, from the species called trolls. His horns are supposed to look like upright dog ears, like the kind you might see on a dog like a German Shepherd. Troll horns also have a layer of coloring I wasn't able to nail, top third is colored yellowish like a goldenrod, then a yellow orange in the middle third, and finally a reddish orange at the bottom third. The details with the food in the background is just supposed to cement that he's a chef, that's not necessary to draw. If you need to know what the sign on his shirt is, his shirt has the sign of Cannius edited into the avi.

Third is a sort of humanoid dragon, their species will display more dragonic traits if their element they use/are bound to is rarer. Anything that looks human should remain looking human, but the black spots on the torso are scales, they're supposed to make it look like the scales from her arms and legs are encroaching towards her chest but scatter gradually, just covering bits that would normally be covered by clothes. Her horns are also little nubbins because her horns are always on fire.
