Turbo had a flimsy storyline, and in
Space it just died outright.
And the recent ones are just plain lame.
Especially that Harry Potter ripoff.
Mystic Force was it.
At least
Wild Force and
Dino Thunder had pretty good intros.
And S.P.D had some choice episodes.
Like the one wherein the Blue Ranger had to ask for information from a high-level alien convict detained in a maximum security prison planet, so that he can catch another convict.
The alien informant, called the Mastermind, was so difficult to capture since he can jump into reflective surfaces, and teleport through them.
So in order to meet with him, he had to wear dark-tinted shades, remove his badge, belt buckle, and all other shiny objects in his person.
As payment for the information the Blue Ranger required, he only asked for a sad story in return, since he has been collecting them for a book he plans to publish.
When he got the information, and the criminal got captured, he returned and told the Mastermind his story about how his father was the last Red Ranger, and how he aspired to be like him, and how his father was killed in action.
To which the Mastermind replied,
"That was the most.... HILARIOUS STORY I HAVE EVER HEARD! MWAHAHAHAHA!"
A tear rolled down the Blue Rangers eye as he charged and tried to attack alien convict through his bars. But it was too late, since the alien took the opportunity to teleport into the TEARDROP and make his escape.

Then there was also the return of the A-Team rangers, the main Ranger team who went Missing In Action in Episode 1, that's why the B-Team where asked to substitute in their absence.
Only they later were caught trying to sabotage the PR Headquarters, saying that, they deliberately went off the radar while going after the criminal they were after so that they can negotiate their terms of agreement, and then declaring that,
"Evil pays better"
