Well, australia has many distasteful creatures!! I'm also very scared of slugs, believe it or not. I didn't know I was scared of them till I sat down outside the library at night time and ended up with about 5 slugs slithering all over my coat ;_;
every time it rains I run to school because I don't want to walk slow enough for them to get onto my feet xD

I had the same thing happen to me when I realized that my scholarships and grants wouldn't be enough to pay this one semester of classes so I had to hurry and pay online within a hour of the deadline. xD

The crazy system wouldn't recognize my debit card as a credit card (because I got a craptastic amount of error messages saying the money didn't go through) so I actually had to switch to my credit card to pay--forgetting that my credit card obviously does not have a credit line of about 2800. xD;;

In the end, in a mad frenzy, I called both my bank and the company in charge of handling the payment system and...my debit card actually went through the first time despite the error message. >>;

So I'm wondering if you ended up getting one of those "Your payment has been received" emails at the end. :3

@ Zanneh - YES IT DID! But omg, most convoluted and unpleasant experience ever! Though it sounds a bit like what you went through poor baby ;3;

I ended up trying 4 different American credit cards, none of which worked. And because the website kept saying that payment information was successfully received but the order wasn't processed yet, I thought for the longest time that maybe I just had to wait it out and they would charge my card? (or cards, I thought they were going to send me 10 copies of my order XD;;; wink But then yesterday at work I got an email saying: because they didn't receive my payment yet, they're going to push the shipping date back a week.

.....at this point I was going WTFFFFFFFF gonk

So when I got home last night I tried ALL the cards again, and got the same message. We even made an international call to customer service in Beijing in hopes of getting the problem solved, but they thought it might be because of the credit cards, not them crying Sooo.....since that didn't help we ended up calling my aunt back in Shanghai, who literally ran to the bank and we had a 3-way-call thing set up with her and the guy at the bank so she could help me set up a debit card in China XD;;;;;;;;;;; EVEN THAT WASN'T FUN, because in order to confirm your orders, they send you a passcode that you need to enter....as a text message to your phone crying

So I was trying to figure out what the ******** that was, and it turned out they sent it to my aunt's phone >_> TALK ABOUT CONVENIENT.

But yeah in the end it worked out and I got my order paid. Now to wait until February to actually GET my package XD;;;
