These are very rough descriptions. I will have more information available depending on which character you choose.
Also, all characters have two outfits. A normal world outfit and an outfit for the other world in the story. You can pick either one! biggrin I have a few of them designed on their character sheets.
Aaron
Gender: male
Age: 12 in the first book (and a red head!), 18 in later books
Hair and Eye Color: Black and green
Height and body type: About 5'4", very slender
Powers/Weapons: controls fire, occasionally a sword
Basic Description: Aaron is very shy and very quiet. His father left when he was young, and his fire powers made him very sick when his mother moved them both to Idaho. When he turned fifteen he became ill enough that he had to move in with his older half brother, Patrick, which is when he became a full fledged fire user, one of the youngest to receive their powers and live. Scott is his cousin, and like Patrick, Scott is very over protective of Aaron even though there's not much he can do to help him at first. Aaron eventually starts dating Eric.

Eric
Gender: Male
Age: 18 in his first appearance, 22ish in the other books
Hair and Eye Color: Brown
Height and body type: Roughtly 5'5"-5'6", has broader shoulders than Aaron
Powers/Weapons: He can cast spells and has a cross bow, and a sword, but he hates using his sword.
Basic Description: Eric is more outgoing than Aaron, and makes friends easily. He is a genuinely nice guy, and cares about everyone around him. He's dating Aaron. (obviously).

Scott
Gender: male
Age: 19
Hair and Eye Color: Blonde and Blue
Height and body type: 5'10", slender and athletic
Powers/Weapons: a "magical demon killing sword" (his words, not mine). The blade glows blue when he needs it to. Possibly has the ability to be friends with any familiar he meets, but it's unproven.
Basic Description: Very outgoing and very out spoken, Scott has the unfortunate tendency to talk much faster than he thinks, but he's a good guy at heart. He's the comic relief of just about any group. He was on the soccer team at high school, and now he wields a magical sword that contains his soul (he touched it on accident. Oops!). He's dating Amber.

Amber
Gender: female
Age: 18
Hair and Eye Color: Dark brown and blue
Height and body type: 5'2", petite
Powers/Weapons: Healer
Basic Description: Very sweet and quiet, Amber balances Scott fairly well. She's very smart and wants to be a kindergarten teacher. She loves Scott even though he's an idiot (or maybe because of it).

Kat
Gender: female
Age: 18

Height and body type: 5'6", very curvy
Powers/Weapons: No powers, occasionally has a weapon
Basic Description: Loud, bad tempered, and is always constantly right. She's best friends with Amber by choice and wants Eric to be her best friend as well, he wants nothing to do with her. She can be very rude, and she loves compliments. She's a VERY minor character.

Patrick
Gender: male
Age: 18 in the first book, 24 in later books
Hair and Eye Color: Orange and hazel
Height and body type: 5'10", slender and athletic like Scott
Powers/Weapons: Controls fire, has swords but doesn't often need to use them
Basic Description: Patrick is cocky and loud. He was a painter until his powers made it impossible (oil paints and fire don't mix), so now he uses his powers to make metal sculptures. He makes a pretty decent living. He's one of the most powerful fire users alive, and he's got the ego to match it. He's a bit of a pervert, but he does care about Liz. Since he's from Arizona, whenever he goes up North to visit everyone, he tends to throw on any clothes he can find and looks like a hobo. When he's at home, he dresses like a normal person. Essentially. He's Aaron's older half brother, their dad left them both stranded and Patrick doesn't like him much.

Liz
Gender: female
Age: 18 in her first appearance, 22 in later books
Hair and Eye Color: Black and very dark brown
Height and body type: 5'7", slender with a few curves
Powers/Weapons: Healer and fighter, knows a few spells, uses knives
Basic Description: She's as tough as nails, stubborn, a bit hot headed and when she cares about someone, she really cares about them and will do just about anything for them. She dated the original Nick, and now doesn't particularly care for the demon impersonator Nick. She's dating Patrick, mostly because she's one of the few people willing to put up with his crap. (psst she dumps him XD)

Nick
Gender: male
Age: Looks about 20, actually immortal
Hair and Eye Color: brown and black (were once blue if you want to draw Human!Nick)
Height and body type: 5'10", slender
Powers/Weapons: a very powerful demon
Basic Description: Nick was one of the most poweful demons around, until he was given a mission to kill Eric. When the original Nick died he was ordered by his superiors to take on his appearance and memories - something demons don't normally do, since the personality of that person can override their own, as is the case with Nick. Because of the personality overhaul, he is goofy and loves everyone. He adores Liz and constantly attempts flirts with her, but she turns him down every time, first because he's a demon and later because she's in a relationship. He's good friends with Collin because of a deal he made with Collin to help him control his powers, and Nick and Collin were good friends before.

Collin
Gender: male
Age: 18 in his first appearance, 23 for the rest of the books
Hair and Eye Color: Dark brown and dark blue
Height and body type: 6'2", slender and athletic, but broader in the shoulders than Patrick
Powers/Weapons: Very powerful. He can make shields and blast things apart with a thought. He doesn't have a weapon. He doesn't need one.
Basic Description: Collin is a jerk to just about everyone. He's the angry, anti-social, non-touchy member of the group and he likes being that way. He had a lot of trouble controlling his powers when he first got them, so he made a deal with the demon that would become Nick to help him control them.

Tim
Gender: male

Height and body type: 5'9", slender and athletic, thinner than Scott and Patrick

Basic Description: Tim is an easy going guy. He lost his familiar a long time ago in an accident and has been wandering around every since, basically living in his van. He will flirt with anything that moves.

Spook
Gender: male

Height and body type: 5'5" and slender like Aaron
Powers/Weapons: Eric's familiar, a shapeshifter
Basic Description: Spook can shapeshift between a huge wolf dog and a human, but in his human form he normally keeps his wolf dog ears and tail. He's happy go lucky, care free, and loves sugar. He has a long list of favorite people, starting with Eric and including Scott, Aaron, and even Collin. He's very energetic and acts about five most of the time.

Camilla
Gender: female
Age: looks about 25, actually immortal
Hair and Eye Color: black and yellow
Height and body type: 5'8", very curvy
Powers/Weapons: Patrick's familiar, a shapeshifter
Basic Description: Camilla can shapeshift like Spook, but her form is a black panther. Like Spook she keeps the ears and tail, unlike Spook she is very calm and a little haughty. She's in love with Patrick, but a relationship between them is considered taboo and she's too afraid to tell him, so instead she acts cold and indifferent to his girlfriends. She also really likes Scott because he's a very calming influence to her, possibly a power of his.

Gage
Gender: male
Age: looks in his early twenties, actually immortal
Hair and Eye Color: Auburn and black
Height and body type: 5'11", thin
Powers/Weapons: a powerful demon like Nick (only not stupid)
Basic Description: Gage has never taken on human memory and appearance, so he's a full fledged demon. He admired Nick before the change, and is very angry over the loss of his good friend.

William
Gender: male
Age: About 25ish looking
Hair and Eye Color: Blonde and brown
Height and body type: 5'8"
Powers/Weapons: He's a Spell Caster like Eric, and has a sword
Basic Description: He's Eric's teacher, and worked him to the bone, mostly to get him ready to take his place so that William could leave. He's very confident in his abilities, so he comes off as smug or arrogant at times. He's kind of grumpy, and a little anti-social.

Holly
Gender: female
Age: 18-19 in book one, 24 in later books
Hair and Eye Color: Brown and dark brown
Height and body type: 5'5", kinda curvy
Powers/Weapons: The average powers of an average human girl!
Basic Description: Patrick's best friend all throughout school, she's still his friend later in life. She thinks he's very silly and hardly ever takes him seriously. She's one of the few people outside of the inner circle that knows about the Gatekeepers and their powers. She really likes Aaron and is practically a big sister to him. She may or may not be in love with Patrick, you decide!

Melvin
Gender: male
Age: In his forties
Hair and Eye Color: Black and blue
Height and body type: About 6', broad in the shoulder
Powers/Weapons: Swordsman
Basic Description: Melvin was Eli's partner when he became Gatekeeper, and quickly learned how to survive in the world since he wasn't tied to the Gate like Eli was. He was best friends with Eli and later very good friends with Eli's wife, Ella. When Eli and Ella were divorced, Melvin slowly won Ella over and later married her, making him Patrick's step-dad. He trains Patrick and Aaron swordplay, and treats both of them like they're his sons.

Gender: male

Height and body type: 5'10", same as Patrick, very thin
Powers/Weapons: Fire User and sword
Basic Description: Both Patrick and Aaron's dad, he left the normal world for the other world again before Aaron was born, essentially abandoning his sons. He has good reasons, but unfortunately isn't willing to tell anyone those reasons, so neither of his kids like him. Poor guy. Normally he's kind of silly and very out going. Mel is his still his best friend, since he's better at figuring things out than most people.
