In Search of Unicorns

:Enid:
Enid is the female main protagonist, and the only one I chose to further develop at this time.

Enid's Appearance:
Enid is dark skinned, Indian looking with freckles from sun exposure.
She has a wild appearance and always appears unkempt.
Enid has pale mint green eyes with specs of brown and gold in them surrounded by long dark eyelashes.
Enid has raven black hair it falls just above where her neck meets her shoulder line, she has a few tiny braids as well.

Build/age/clothing:

Enid is about 5'4 in height she is petite with small breasts and shes not too curvy.
She is 15 years of age
she wears desert clothes with long pants and sleeves
her clothes are thin and loose but not baggy
they are dull in color
a scarf/hood around her neck for dusty hot days to pull up for shade- very decorated scarf with arabic star motifs
she has a silver stud nose ring and many small earrings on her ears
she wears different choker necklaces
each decorated with beads or small trinkets, main one has a round 'star' and a silver connector; holding it into place are 4-6 leather straps on each side.
one of the necklaces holds an ancient coin from her grandfather.
She 'borrows' a sword from one of the local traders.
Her personality can be described as sweet - happy-go-lucky, she's very positive and laughs as often as she can- she is seen smiling to herself. She's kind of a daydreamer- but is responsible.

Her horse is a mare Arabian/Friesian mix
Enid adores Anjum, and acquired her when she was eight years old.
She has a long wavy milky white mane and tail.
her face starting from the snip (nose area) is white with her cheeks fading to the dapple
her legs are black.

the saddle is dark with arabic stars engraved on it
it sits upon a cloth or 'horse blanket'
a tassle cloth sits around her neck and around her sides and back end swooping under the tail
Anjum is stubborn and only listens to Enid.

Shuruq Shams (شروق شمس) - The Unicorn:

White, pure white almost blinding
it has long wide ears like a deer or a goat
it's horn is about four feet in length, very sharp bone smooth and sits almost completely between the ears
dark eyes with long pale eyelashes with a goat like muzzle, sharp angled close set nostrils.
its smaller than a regular horse but has long nimble legs and a slender body
cloven "split" white hooves
a long lion tail
it does not have a long flowing horse like mane, almost no mane at all.
From a distance its coat shines when touched by sunlight, reflecting like a mirror.
Shuruq Shams is a forgotten beast of an ancient world- its name in the local language translates to 'Sunrise' according to myth it only appears during dawn.
It sometimes appears in two human forms: A genderless child wearing white and holding a mirror locket made of gold, it is shaped like a sun. it also appears as a young woman wrapped in simple clothes, with no visible hair and a positive expression on her face. She also has a gold 'sun locket' with a mirror in the middle, she wears it as a necklace that falls just below her belly button. As these forms Shuruq Shams will not come close enough to touch- and only appears as an illusion or mirage.

Mahjub Set:

Mahjub was once a young man, and the servant of a great godlike king during a time when the desert was an oasis.
After Mahjub grew envious of the king - he was banished to the farthest reaches of the world.
Mythology tells that he roams the desert in search of life to destroy and trick travelers and kill them.
Appearance:
His physical description is hard to put into words so ill keep it as simple as I know how!
He stands six feet tall, he appears emaciated but with muscle tone.
Mahjub has kept his humanistic qualities, He has been corrupted, twisted and is a living representation of the wicked nature of humankind.

Think of the smaller dark skinned orcs in The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King.
His skin is very smooth and charcoal/charred colored and wrinkles any time he moves- his eyes are large and bloodshot, his iris's are deep ruby red.
He has shark like teeth and a long sharp tongue, if he were to stick it out you would see a black coloring towards the back of the tongue.
Mahjub wears an old rusted crown from the ancient times, with curved 'wings' in the side, its embellished.

crown2 now, about the crowns, you dont have to make it look just like those- that is just for a general idea of the shape and size.

Mahjub wears a collar necklace with shoulder pad extensions- they are very ornate and probably gorgeous at some point but have become dilapidated.
he wears long dirty pants that have worn down and become frayed and thin.

His nose is wide and flat- the septum is downward towards his mouth - giving him the look of a cat. He has a decorative loop nose ring and large crested earrings that caused his earlobes to droop. gauge earrings.
he has long fingers, fingernails and toes with bells on his feet and ankles.
when he walks he twists and turns his arms and appears to be dancing.
He carries an ebony sword on his side, he kills any travelers. - his sword is scimitar like.
Enid has only heard small spooky stories of Mahjub when she was small.

Setting

Desert and canyons as the regional setting and the time setting is sort of Babylon/Mesopotamia- nomadic - but not too primitive.
Enid is from and lives in a desert region. Enid has never been to a major town or settlement, for they are weeks away.
There are ruins among the dunes- and large corroded statues and ancient cities.
Enid and her family and people are much like gypsies they are a mix of many races and cultures, and tend to move around.
Her village is full of people who sky map - they find their way in the dark through the placement of the stars- for the past 3 months a drought has plagued the village and most of the water and resources have disappeared and what water remains is tainted and causes illness to her family and eventually death.

Lemon is 22 years old and has great fashion sense very vogue/modern 80's and very girly, loves short skirts/shorts and cute tops

sort of ditzy and really bubbly
super smart.

Hair:

Her hair is her personality, it varies but I like to imagine her hair long and model like, at least waist length hair.
Her most common hair color is pastel blonde or pastel blue, her natural hair color is teal.
totally fine if you want to draw her with her natural hair color- her style and hair length changes, so feel free to play it up! But no spikes please lol

Clothes & Makeup:

She loves to look her best, her style can be summed up as modern 80s.
mixed with couture runway. LOTS of pink! Pink is her favorite color.
She wears gaudy earrings- but not tacky, dangly hearts are her favorite but she also wears hoops or anything shiny.
Lemon does wear makeup but certainly doesn't cake it on. Some eyeshadow, mascara and eyeliner usually 'cateye' style.
For her lips when she is young then it would be lipgloss or lip balm.

She has a great smile and remains beautiful all of her life, not saying she doesn't age, but she doesn't need plastic surgery. As she gets older she shortens her hair but doesn't go all old lady curls.
At her shortest length its a pixie type with longer bangs that swoop to the side. At her longest hair length it reaches to her butt. She can be very bossy and she is headstrong.

Remember she is my oc and replaces Bulma.

Sailor Nebula

Sailor Nebula was my - I guess first made up character? I doodled her on a piece of paper years ago- I think I was in 3rd grade
at this time Neptune, Pluto, Uranus, and Saturn had entered the season- and my sister and me were making up our own scouts.

About

Earth name: Estelle
Other Alias: Princess Nebula, Sailor Nebula.

Estelle is princess and guardian of the birthplace of stars and nebula clouds, her kingdom is called 'Mira Vega'
She came to earth after stars that shined brilliantly in her realm began to disappear she followed a trail that lead her to Earth.
Estelle has a very bubbly personality, she often listens to conversations and gives her input even when it's not asked. She loves the sounds of nature - and the silence of space. Her favorite song is by an ambient band known as "Hammock" the song is called "the Silence" since it reminds her of the peacefulness of her kingdom.

On her kingdom Mira Vega - the sun never fully shines and there is no visible moon. The time of day is always 'set' in a dusk or twilight. Millions of stars are always visible from anywhere in Mira.

Astrological Sign: Leo
Favorite gemstone: - the Earth name for her fav stones are Alexandrite, and Grandidierite it grows in abundance in her kingdom.
Favorite color/scout color: Lavender and silver

Appearace:

Estelle stands 5'4 with long brown hair that reaches to just below her bottom.
She styles it a few ways, but most commonly a side braid or a loose down ponytail.
her bangs a semi long and split from the middle.

Eye color/hair color:

hazel eyes, honey brown hair

Transformation:
If you want to draw her in a phase in her transformation - that would be fine.

If she were to have a transformation sequence- basically a black screen would appear after she whispered or shouted Nebula Power or something similar, then a glowing 8 pointed star would appear- revealing itself to be the star on her forehead. She would be glowing lavender. Estelle's full body would be in screen and she would begin to spin delicately, at about the 2nd rotation she would reach down to her ankle or the ground creating a sparking neon white light and drag her fingers along her leg and rise back up - it would become her spear. She would spin it and then force it to the ground causing a shock wave of magic and stars which create her collar skirt and bow, her suit would then be visible **end of music, she would then strike a pose xD**

Soldier appearance:

Nebula's soldier or scout outfit somewhat resembles reflective armor. The body part of the uniform is white and plain but acts like an extremely tough armor.

::Collar::
She does have a 'sailor collar' somewhat like the inner and outer scouts, it is lavender with no stripe at the hem, it has a see-through effect and it lightly sparkles. the 'back' of the collar is longer than the other scouts.

::Sleeves/shoulder::
The sleeves are feathered out with many points.

::Bows::
Her chest bow is an assortment of sharp clustered crystal stars.
Her butt bow is deep silvery purple mixed with lavender and it reaches to her ankles, but is also translucent like the collar and skirt. it sparkles as well- sparkly gurrrrl!
There is a smaller version of the chest bow at the 'V' of the top front part of her skirt skirt.

Her other uniform version is all white with no separation from the skirt - ill show an example soon. the tips of her skirt fade into the silvery lavender color.

::Skirt::
Her skirt is matching lavender with her collar, it also is mildly translucent and sparkles.
she has silvery translucent skirts underneath the top one- making it three tiers in all.

::Gloves::
Her gloves are white with silver stripes at the wrist in a 'V' shape pointed down to her knuckles.
the top of the glove reaches above her elbows and feathers out like her sleeves.

::Boots:
Her boots are about knee high with the same lavender color with asilver trim at the top which is pointed like Sailor Mercury's and Sailor Moon's boots

::Other::
She has an 8 pointed north star on her head.
her necklace or 'choker' is silver with an purple and pink stone at the center it changes color in different lighting. She wears cerulean blue gem stud earrings. OR white stars.

Attack/abilities: ( I have never thought of any names for her attacks- she is not overpowered, but holds special abilities and strengths of her own.)
*She carries a long silver spear- the spear head is 5 pointed with the middle point being the longest, the end of the spear has a small planet. Each side is used for a different purpose, the planet side is used for passive abilities such as the light, while the spear side is aggressive abilities.*

::Abilities::
Ability 1) She can temporarily blind her foes with a summoned ball of light.

Ability 2) Can disperse the light by raising it over her head and snapping or just sending it away- it will find what she is looking for.

Ability 3)She has an ability to create a 'black hole' or a warp- she uses it to travel, she cuts the air with her spear.

::Attacks::
Attack 1)She will throw her spear at her foe and it almost never misses; it stuns or kills instantly. uncommon use

Attack 2) Nebula will draw a white neon colored circle over her head and from it small meteors rush out in every direction. This would be her signature attack I guess you could say.

Attack 3) She summons two small orbs of light releases them in which they quickly zoom toward each other causing a powerful knock back. common

*-Nebula's most powerful skill is something like a mini supernova-*
Attack 4) Can summon a small sun or star, it pulls everything to it, while growing in size Sailor Nebula will stab it which causes it to release a shock wave, it then disappears with what it consumed. She very rarely would use this, it has the ability to never stop growing if she is killed while it is used

Irena

My mermaid

Irena is a modern mermaid, she is very wealthy and in many ways can be considered royalty- although she isn't famous or a celebrity.
Irena's backstory:

Marisha is Irena's mother, who was also a mermaid born around a small uninhabited Caribbean island called Navassa. Marisha made her way to the tourist side of the isles in which she met Irena's father who was a wealthy 'yuppie' in the 1980's. He fell head over heels for the island beauty and they were soon married to the discomfort of Irena's well-to-do grandparents.
Marisha's first few children died soon after birth due to being incredibly disfigured and malformed, all having bound legs.
Eventually, Irena was conceived and while Marisha's husband was away Irena was born in a bathtub - having bound legs that eventually molded into a small pink tail above the bellyl- Marisha informed her husband of the birth: who immediately took a plane home to see his new baby girl; who by then, had grew normal set of legs.
By the time Irena was five she had serious skin dryness on her legs and often had to apply a medical cream to treat it- nothing seemed to be a permanent solution though.
She knew that she wasn't exactly normal when each time she showered or bathed, she grew a set of opalescent scales all over her legs- keeping this a secret.
Irena's mother and father divorced when she was nine, and soon after the divorce Marisha disappeared.
Irena continued to live with her father until she was 18.
Irena is incredibly independent of her father and his money- she lives in a recently renovated apartment in a beautiful city, and spent a lot of money on a large soaking tub.
Irena's father is one of the best known lawyers among the wealthy and is a very popular man. Irena never cared much for the status, thus why she separated herself from it.
Yes, her dad knows of what she is and often keeps potential boyfriends away from her.

Irena's details:
Irena is 20 years old with lightly tan skin & rosy cheeks.
She has really nice nails.
Irena is petite in frame and is toned from swimming and always eating seafood- her favorite.
Irena keeps her hair short since her mother had always insisted that she keep her hair long. She only turns into a mermaid after being in water for an elongated period of time, so if she showers she wont sprout her tail, only when shes in a pool/ocean/ or the tub.

Eye color/eyebrow:
pale ice blue, she has beautifully shaped eyes and long dark eyelashes, arched eyebrows that are the same color as her pale blonde hair.

Hair color and style:
Her hair is very straight and falls above her shoulders. The front is longer than the back- and her bangs are grown out the same length as the front one side is a little longer than the other. Sort of a very posh "A-line bob" style.

Features/ personality:

Irena has her the best of her mother and fathers looks, a heart shaped face with high cheekbones and a slender neck. She has a nice structured nose and bow shaped full lips- she doesn't need to wear makeup but often wears lip-balm or waterproof mascara. Her personality can be described as 'not overly friendly, a tease, and sharp tongued' she isn't mean though. She has a very strong drive to get things done but doesn't make a scene when something doesn't go her way. Irena is pretty laid back and can relax easily as long as she has a mixed drink in hand.
Men are her least priority and ironically is pursued by men on a regular basis.

Tail color and style:

Irena's tail is a gift and a curse from her mother and ancestors. Her tail is long and flexible- no knee joints, her many scales vary in color - giving her a rainbow fish effect. She has two medium sized fins on her thighs and her main fin is strong and beautiful. Not Ariel like.
She can walk around and through an extended period of time in water will morph into a mermaid.
When she was born her tail was pastel pink and has some translucency. Over time scales formed and so did it's brilliant color.
Her tail does not form underneath her belly button like a traditional mermaid- it forms on her lower hips and continues on down.
Over all her tail is a light pink with a golden hue or a opalescent goldish? and then it glitters to an array of sunset colors much like a tropical fish.
She sometimes swims in her dads grand infinity pool. She avoids the beach because she doesn't want to be discovered but may swim on a private beach in the Bahamas or southeast Asia.

Clothes style:

Irena's clothing style is comfortable but grown up and polished is the best way to describe her wardrobe. She prefers loose fit dresses over pants any day, but does wear flare/skinny jeans on cold days.
Irena wears unique island type jewelry OR nice real jewelry such as diamonds, gold, silver or designer jewelry/accessories.

Mahzarin

Mahzarin is my Norn Mesmer from the Computer game Guild Wars2.

About the Norn:

-The Norn are a race of giant people who live and dwell in an arctic type region called the Shiverpeaks- Think of Norway or the Arctic, for the Shiverpeaks setting.
Norn have similar qualities with Vikings or ancient Nordic peoples. They tend to be very boastful and prideful, they can seem selfish and are quick to anger.
Their culture is based around personal success and glory and animal spirits to whom they worship.

-Norns are very tall, shortest usually being between 7ft-9ft- even the women; they are a stocky husky peoples, but not ever obese for their active lifestyles keeps them fit. They wear furs, and bones to decorate their armor.
The Norn are one of the most ancient races in Tyria. All Norn have an ability to transform into a sacred animal or Spirit animal "Wolf, Raven, Snow Leopard, Bear" A Norn born under any one of these animal signs will have the ability to take it's form at a point in their life. There were other spirit animals but any linkage to them was killed and destroyed by a great dragon known as Jormag.
Norns aften decorate themselves in Tattoos and can outdrink any one that dare challenges.

About Mahzarin

She is about 9ft tall which is average height for a female norn.
Mahz is slightly thin for her race, being that she has been trained in the arts of a mesmer which requires agility, and light footed-ness. Can't have a fat mesmer running around trying to be sly.
Mahzarin is exotic looking for a norn, she is darker skinned and has bright iceblue eyes and sandy blonde hair.
She is very bubbly, and keeps her cool in the toughest situations.
Her personality is not very boastful like her brethren, and loves the company of people.

She carries around a staff called the Bifrost, when she walks while wielding the Bifrost, her footsteps illuminate with an aurora light trail. On occasion small but partial faint rainbows can be spotted trailing behind her.
When she holds the staff, her whole body shimmers with the aurora light.
A pastel rainbowish hazy stream flows from the bottom to the top of the staff, which is the focal point of the mystical prism. Icy cold crystals float around the head of the staff.
The Bifrost was a gift to her from a dear friend.
She also wields a one handed sword along with an item called a focus- which helps casters literally focus their energy into magical blasts or a field in which if enemies cross- it will repel any projectile attacks or cause enemies to slow down if they cross a magical barrier, while it also speeds up the caster and her allies.
Mahz has white tattoos on her the upper part of her arms just under her shoulders, of a lace-like pattern but are mostly covered by her sleeves.

What is a Mesmer?

A Mesmer in a sense is a very powerful illusionist and are incredibly smart, sharp of tongue and an expert sword fighter. They are in the magic class.

A mesmer's energy is associated with shades of purple usually violets or deep pinks, that takes the form of flames or shattering butterflies.
Mesmers can make copies or clones of themselves in times of need to fool or attack their enemies. The most powerful of mesmers can warp time by speeding up themselves and allies within their time warp space. They also can warp or jump from place to place with a blink of an eye. OR create a much more powerful portal entry and ferry a large group to another area in just a few short seconds.
Mesmers have a shatter ability that can dangerously confuse an enemy: the mesmer can call upon her/his clones to rush an enemy and upon impact they shatter like glass- in some cases explodes and causes cuts/burn/cripples and death- they can even use them *the illusions* to become invulnerable for a short amount of time.
A mesmer can cause enemies attacks to turn on themselves by encasing their target in a glass shield if they use a bow, gun, or magical projectiles.
A mesmer's signature piece of their wardrobe is a mask- that usually appears Venetian in style, given to them the day they end thier apprenticeship.

The staff itself is not a perfectly straight up and down pole, its hand carved with a natural look to it like it grew out of a branch.

Mahzarin/mesmer examples and references

Mahzarin's style-- Mahz wears a fur mantle made from a from a dire wolf's pelt.
A ram head is attached to the left shoulder as an accent piece. The mantle is held onto her top by jeweled clasps on each side.
Her top or breast piece is culturally human and not norn made, with a more venetian or baroque esq touch.
Her skirt piece is norn made with jewels chained on the end. Her boots were norn made as well.
Mahz wears golden metal arm protectors.
You can have her armor any color you would like- I just usually have it pale colors like Pastel Pink for the skirt and top or Baby Blue-- but it's up to you! A MUST her fur collar and waist band must be either white fur or peppery in color. that is the only requirement.
Chains fall off the skirt that hold odd little stones - the chains are gold. Any metal on her armor is a faded gold.

Her hair is not a traditional norn like hairstyle, which would usually be involved in some assortment of braids. Her hair is fastened into a sort of chignon bun with a small braid that wraps in the middle from left to right.
Mahz loves anything girly and pretty- and for the world of GW2 that means bold styles with lace embroidery, and pastel colors.

This is a made up soundtrack! so basically if there was background music to certain situations or themes to the stories these would be them! I hope it helps you get a feel for the character/settings. I gathered a series of songs from movie soundtracks that remind me of these oc's all original rights belong to the original owners and blahblahblah.
