Here's my characters!

Jonathan Morgan

• Species: Vampire
• Apparent Age: Mid twenties
• Appearance: Long crimson hair, a bit past shoulder length (I like this cliche ok don’t judge me), either worn down or in a very loose ponytail. Skin is very light. Build like a swimmer, decently toned. For his human appearance his eyes are ice blue. As a vampire he has elflike ears and slit golden yellow eyes and, of course, fangs.
• Sexuality: Aromantic Asexual (his own declaration, actually a lie)
• Personality: Cold, manipulative, psychopath, observant, adaptable. He's a killer, plain and simple. Gives no ******** about the morality of murder and sees humans as beneath him, just the prey to his predator. Still, he's not really a 24/7 jerk, if that makes any sense. He's nice to his friends (although his personal brand of kindness comes with a significant amount of snark), and doesn't cause drama or fights or even make a stir at all unless it's necessary. When he does get violent however... well, it's not pretty. He tends to hide behind a fake, gentle personality when he's not with his friends or about to feed. He has a really good sense of humor and has no problem laughing at himself or being the butt of a joke.

Benjamin "Ben" Morris

• Species: Vampire
• Age: Early thirties
• Appearance: Teal hair shaved on the sides into a fluffhawk with long sideburns dyed to match (original hair colour is brown, so that might show through at the roots). Caramel skin. Build is slightly above average, well toned as you'd expect of a guy who can do/has done physical labor. For his human appearance his eyes are brown. As a vampire he has elflike ears and slit golden yellow eyes and, of course, fangs. Loves piercings, most often wears small ear cuffs and/or small ear gauges, plus snakebites. I'm really not picky on that detail so do what you want!
• Sexuality: Gay
• Personality: Polite, outgoing, self-indulging, impulsive. Works at a butcher shop so he's used to blood, but as a (relatively new) vampire he's reluctant, though not to the point of starving himself. It doesn't sit well with him, but he's slowly becoming used to it, whether he realizes it or not. Jonathan is his best friend and mentor despite their clashing personalities. He smokes.

Alexander "Alex" Heaton

• Species: Demon
• Apparent Age: Late thirties to early forties (This is really not that old so please don't make him look 60 T vT;;;)
• Appearance: Bleach blonde hair slicked back save for a few loose strands. Similarly bleached goatee. Dark skin. Built for power and speed, as he is a brawler by profession. He has two parallel scars going down his jaw/neck on the left side, as well as an x-shaped scar over his heart. He has assorted tattoos, most notably two black bands on his left arm, three rib-like stripes on each side of his neck, and stylized demon wings on his collarbones. There is also a large black tattoo that covers his entire back which is actually his sigil—a scar that represents his real name. When he appears as a human he has brown eyes. When he appears as a demon his eyes are red, his ears are long (think elves), and he has a devil-like tail as well as horns (though the right one is broken) that are coloured a slightly purple-tinted grey. He also has 3 pairs of pure black wings, although he very rarely shows these.
• Sexuality: Bisexual
• Personality: For better or for worse, he is a very genuine person. He doesn’t hide his feelings or opinions, which does tend to get him in a lot of trouble (and is part of the reason why one of his horns is broken). He has a bit of a temper and pride issues stemming from said horn, and if you happen to ask him why it’s broken he’ll likely try to beat the s**t out of you. He’s very generous, and since he doesn’t have much use for money, he often just donates what he wins from fighting competitions to charities or people in his territory that he notices are in need.

• Species: Shadow
• Apparent Age: Late teens
• Appearance: He has two forms. His real form is little more than a mass of shadow. It’s sort of slimy in consistency visually, but if you were to touch him his form would feel as soft as velvet. His mouth and eyes are both a bright cyan that almost seems to glow slightly at times. In his humanoid form, his skin is a very dark desaturated purple. His blood is bright cyan, meaning that places where his skin is flushed blushes blue rather than red. The scleras of his eyes are pitch black, as are his pupils, while his irises are that same bight cyan blue. His hair is black and buzzed short, with long sideburns not unlike Ben’s. The left one is dyed bright blue. There are studs on both sides of his nose. He has long elflike ears, significantly longer than the vampires’, that are emotive—they change position depending on his mood. He is extremely skinny and slender, though not to the point of appearing anorexic.

• Personality: He’s a little on the hyper side, but very eager to please. He’ll always do his best to carry out the orders he’s given with swift precision, and is in fact very good at what he does despite his outwardly naive appearance.

Dmitri Mikhailov

• Species: Troll
• Age: Early twenties
• Sexuality: Reluctant Bisexual
• Personality: Dmitri is a closeted dork. A childhood of fending for himself on the streets has left him cold and untrusting, but there’s a silliness in him that wants to be free. He works as a high-class prostitute despite the fact that he really doesn’t care for sex. For him it’s little more than means to an end, as his long-term dream is to someday get into art school, although given the racism against trolls in his time, this may well never come true.
• Dress: He’s always cold, so he dresses heavy. Lots of furs. Loves spikes, studs, and pretty gems/rocks, and incorporates these into his fashion choices. Has expensive taste in upperwear and shoes, but for some reason he wears a lot of ripped up jeans/pants. Colour-wise he’s not picky, but he rarely wears bright colours and neons as anything other than an accent.

Leviathan

• Species: Djinn
• Apparent Age: Mid twenties-early thirties
• Sexuality: Queer
• Appearance Notes: His tentacles are optional! They emerge from whatever part of his body he sees fit, and are retractable, so they won't show if he doesn't need them. His tongue is also a tentacle, just like the others.
• Personality: He is not to be trusted. Ever. He speaks in lies and half-truths, embellished dreams and ideals. He only tells the full truth when it fits him and his schemes and tricks. Sure, he has a scary face, but his silver tongue will tell you otherwise. Go on, give him your wishes. He’ll grant them… Just not in the way you were hoping.
• Dress: Next to nothing. Maybe some thin silk scarves or elaborate loincloths, but little more.

Bao

• Species: Troll
• Apparent Age: Late teens-early twenties
• Sexuality: Asexual
• Appearance: Skin is a light burnt salmon colour. He has four arms, all of which are bound by thick cuffs and chains, lined with fur on the insides to lessen their burden on his work, and keep his wrists from bruising. The Chinese character 奴, which means slave, is braded into the space just below his collarbones, as well as between his shoulderblades on his back. His hair is a soft pastel blue, and underneath it sprouts a pair of large, curling horns. His ears are slightly pointed, and his lobes sport large gauges.
• Personality: Extremely introverted. Many think he is mute, however the truth is simply that he has little he wishes to say. He enjoys being alone with his work, and can work for hours if not days on end if he isn’t interrupted. He is extremely talented with his hands; His passion is making jewelry, which is lucky for him, since it’s all his master will allow him to do. He is the servant to a greedy emperor who uses Bao’s talents to further his own gains.
• Dress: He wears very little in terms of clothing, usually nothing more than a simple, long loincloth that reaches down past his knees. His master uses him as something of a living jewelry box and model, draping him in his finest works that do not yet have a home or are not needed for use at whatever time. He is chained at all times. While his wrist chains are padded with fur, his ankle chains give him no such luxury.
