LOL I've totally cursed myself now, haven't I?!? rofl

I think my favourite way to shade is with teeny little dots. Which is fine for when I have much more time but for this event I need to go faster and teeny dots take forever!

Oh yeah, stippling is fun! I try to only stipple small areas though. It gets tiring fast. @_@;;

TBH I'm a bit of a technophobe. I had to get a smartphone because middle daughter destroyed my old Nokia (I didn't believe it was possible but she managed it!) but I don't know half the things it does and I have no idea how to change any of the setting and stuff.

I have a teenage son so I get him if anything technical needs doing xd And I use Gaia and DA on the computer and not much else.

lol, most of the time for me too but when you're inking you just have to run with it.
I think that's another reason why digital is hard for me. Too easy to keep starting over and getting nowhere. I definitely need to get a good solid idea down on paper and then transfer it to digital for inking and colouring.

o: I saw the WIP of it that you posted today. Love the direction you're taking it. The texture in that hair is gorgeous. ... Digital saved me. XD; When I drew on paper, I used to make copies because I wanted to save "how it was" before I erased it and "fixed" it. I still do the same XD; but now I just have a bunch of digital copies of various stages of my art. <.<;;;; But it's at least not the stack of papers that takes up space in my room. XD; (can't throw them out)

It was fun to draw though. I did try drawing it more "realistically" as in that neck eek sheesh. But it wasn't working for me, so ... sweatdrop
