Figuring out what does what in what program

I still have to get more familiar with Notepad++
I know in black/white images, copying and pasting NULL will make some pixels blue/yellow and then pasting it a second time will make it red/blue

in a colorful picture, I'm not too sure how to go about it but I'll figure it out in time

Walking in forests and seeing the sun shining through the trees and the sky at twilight when it's a deep translucent blue violet. That's what made me love color and light. I also got interested in light, reflections and refraction because there were a lot of creeks nearby. I'd go fossil hunting and study the water. I also used to study metals to see how they picked up their colors.

Not a lot. I tend to study Russian academic drawings.
