I'll explain how one is eligible for different categories.

Best Overall:
This will include any art that is submitted from line art to paper mache entries.

Best Couple:
Any image that has a combination of Melril and Rvaya it could wedding, everyday, romantic, ordinary or whatever.

Best Wedding Couple:
This image must have a wedding theme with both Melril and Rvaya in it. It could be at the ceremony, on the way there, just afterwards, during the reception or anything with a wedding feeling to it.

Best Rvaya:
Any image that best portrays Rvaya from the information given here. Likeness, mood, and pose will be looked at carefully.

Best Warrior Rvaya:
Any image that has the best character design for Rvaya. It could be a new outfit, storyline, angry, emotional, heroic, or what have you.
Most Dramatic: This image needs to be of Warrior Rvaya but with extreme emotion like a batter cry, triumph, or regret. An image that makes us feel something when we see it.

Best Melril:
Any image that best portrays Melril from the information given here. That means it could be the past or present. Likeness, mood, and pose will be looked at carefully.
Most Intellectual: Something that shows Mel's brainy side. That could be reading, writing, doing science projects or being a master at the marketplace. Something that shows she has an exceptional brain.

Best Gargoyle:
Any image that has Rvaya's new gargoyle character on it. The more original and idea packed for this character the better.

Best Avi Edit (Single or Couple):
Any edit of Melril and/or Rvaya. This would be making them up as super heroes, villains, famous people, or spirits for all we care. (Please do not just use bases that you sell at your store on Gaia we will check up to see if that's what is being done.)

Best Traditional Medium:
Any art work that is submitted using traditional mediums such as graphite, watercolors, acrylics, color pencils, markers, etc. This also means that a traditional drawing could win any other category except the digital medium one. We will accept drawing that may have been tweaked with a photo program like colorizing a graphite drawing, or adding a little something here or there. But it must be easy to tell it was basically a traditional drawing.

Best Digital Medium:
Any art work that is submitted by using the computer as their main source of creating said piece. If you use stock there must be credit and permission given by the said stock owner. If that is not obeyed your image will not be accepted into the contest. That goes for brushes as well, if they are free license brush place provide the link to the place you got it.

Most Original/Detailed Clothing Design:
This category will include any character but with an inventive outfit. It doesn't even have to be something to fit their personality. Anything that is high in detail and artistic style.

Best Chibi (Single of Couple):
Any chibi of the characters provided. And chibi is quite open to definition as well. It doesn't just have to be a big head little body what whatever personal style you draw them in.

Best Realistic:
Any image of the characters provided that has a very realistic flair. If you use a stock reference please post the link so we may be able to tell how closely it was followed.

Best Comic:
Any image that has talking it between or with the character. It could a complicated multiple cell comic or just a single. If your drawing a silent comic then it needs to be clear it has a sequence to it.

Best Action:
Any image that has a feeling of movement in the characters. It could a fighting, dancing, running, singing, etc. It just needs to feel like the character is doing something and not just sanding still for a pose.

Best Love Scene/Wedding Night:
(Nothing over PG-13)
This image needs to be between Rvaya and Melril showing passion and love. If your not sure your image is within the pg-13 limits just pm it directly to Rvaya and it will still be in the running but we will decide if it can be posted through Gaia or not.
