Hello!
This is Arafel speaking on behalf of all four of us, Raja, Gabs, and Thal, to welcome you to our Art contest!
We've all been on gaia awhile, and I'd run out of things to do with my items and such... I finally figured it was time to run a contest.

We have many, many, maaaany prizes up for grabs here, and perhaps more as the months go on! Over 100mil worth right now! And don't be intimidated by such a large prize pot, theres lots of runner up prizes we'll be choosing so even if you're not the best, you may still win! We judge not just by talent, but by representation, humor, and many other things.

There are some rules to entering though, its our contest and we can choose to be as fickle as we want when forking out millions of fake gold. XD Please make sure to read the rules, and our wishes, or you WILL be disqualified.
Please ask us if you have any questions or concerns! We're all very nice, and are not afraid to answer or explain what we mean, why we mean it, so on so forth. As I always tell everyone, its better to ask a stupid question, than make a stupid mistake.

The contest begins July 1st 2008, and ends February 1st 2009
Which means ITS OPEN.



Also I, Arafel, will be giving out little prizes here and there! Chibis, for the most part, maybe some head shots, other art bittles... maybe even items! So make sure to keep an eye out and chat with us. <3 We'll greatly appreciate the interest. X3

All art entered in this contest will belong to us! You give up your rights to it when you enter it. Therefore we can crop it, reuse it, etc etc. We will not, however, do major edits... like... changing the hair color... or anything like that. We will respect your art, don't worry. xD
Art will be judged in a variety of ways; skill, representation of the character, and overall theme of the picture. You can be the best artist in the world, but if you misrepresent a character (ie. Srsfase character being goku-like-happy) you probably won't win!

Say hello to my oldest, and most marysue character. XD

Gender: Female
Species: 1/2 Elf, 1/4th Werewolf, 1/4th kitsune
Origin: Gaia(from before barton was founded)
Appearance: She appears to be in her mid-late twenties(ignoring the hair color, but hey, its gaia...) a flatchested and boyish figure, not manly, but not femminine... she often is mistaken for more male than her actually male twin.
Clothing Style: She often wears clothes that try to cover every inch of her body. On top of draping a thousand and one articles of clothing, she subconsciously dresses as close to a man as possible.
So gender neutral clothes, not very flashy, not very spendy.

Personality: Arafel is a fairly shy but kind being. She holds a lot of insecurities about her mixed race, but tends to keep it to herself. She tries a lot of the time, and holds a fairly naive and innocent air about her. Not because she is naive, she picks up on many things, however she often just doesn't know straight facts about situations.
She has two personalities, the one is her more childlike side... a side that was put away for years until Freize came along. As such Ara didn't have a chance to "grow up" so to speak. (to differentiate them in conversation I use "Ara" and "Fel" but neither actually apply as real names) Fel, the second coming personality was born when there was a demand for a caretaker and no parent. As such, someone needed to assume control... Fel was manifested and took the job.
They differ in a few key aspects. Fel is more serious, and very family oriented. She looks after herself and "her pack" whereas Ara is prone to trying to look after everyone that comes into her circle, stranger or not, and she tends to hold a playful atmosphere, that childlike behavior coming into play.
The wereelf also holds a subconscious distaste towards being female. She's prone to keeping her hair short, her clothes baggy and gender neutral... she isn't quite aware she does it. On matters of relations... Fel is the only one that can go past being cuddly, as she's the only one with the know how to do so.

Appearance: Tall and lanky, with a large bust (for her build) and a thin waist.
Clothing Style: She only wears the exposed circuitry suit and leg warmers given to her upon creation. If she changes out of these, she'll lose her ability to turn invisible.
Feel free to give her some other cute clothes though, just not doing anything serious. Picture villain break time. XD

For what personality she has, it seems to be almost optimistic... Her voice is programmed to be a bit bubbly... but the things that come out of her mouth are anything but. Her objectives in life are simply to please her creator, do his bidding... and... well, maybe take over the world. She is, in essence, evil... holding no sense of guilt (no program for it) and devoid of many emotions, she does any mission given to her, relying on her stealth abilities to ambush her foes, killing most with just a single deadly spark of energy.
On her off time she doesn't do too much other than read, or enjoy electronic delights. Upgrades, and so on. She also does have a childlike fancy for learning, as the world is new to her...

Appearance: early teens to young twenties, he doesn't really have an age(if anything its less than a year old), He has a moderate build, not too thin or fat, but not really muscular either. (Kind of on his way to gaining if he doesn't change his habits)
Clothing Style: He dresses to impress, or moreso, intimidate, often drawn to zippers chains, tears, wares, and the occasional faux fur.

Personality:
Etou is angry... most of the time. His status as a fallen angel has put him in an awkward position. Physically, he's an adult, but having only recently become a human the emotions of such are bran-spankin' new to him. As such, he has the control over his emotions of a two year old, and the hormones of a teenager.
Because of that, he's a victim of his own emotion. From crying like a child when he's sick, to angrily storming around the house, demanding things... and worst of all, the sexual desires... he's practically impossible to be around. His anger takes charge most of the time, in an immature sense. A "Gimmie gimmie!" methodology...
Aside from his rampaging emotions, he plans to live life by enjoying all of its earthly pleasures... he's seen heaven, been there, done that, now he wants to experience life as a human... he knows this whole human-thing is temporary so he has to do it quick.
He's very afraid of death, it'd mean "failing" to him, going right back to where he started.
All around he's just a jackass. XD

Species: Marbled newt to a human
Origin: Gaia
Appearance: Pepper has a very androgynous build, stemming from his newt origin, he's short, and young looking... even though he's an adult in newt-standards. Aside from that, he's got two distinct newt-qualities... his eyes, and tail, that make him stand out.
Clothing Style: Enjoys brightly colored clothes, with odd patterns and things... Almost candy raver without the candy. But also isn't too picky about his clothes. Either simple, or overly complicated
Hair color: Bright Green with an almost dull orange down the center
Hair Style: Shoulder-blade length Dreads
Eye color: Dark brown (newt eyes)
Skin color: Average Caucasian
Markings: green and black "freckles", a newt tail.

Personality:
Pepper is a BIT naive, and very literal. While he's an adult in newt terms, he's brand new at being a human. As such, he's overly trusting and can get himself into trouble. Ontop of that, human behavior can be rather troublesome to him, either with himself getting it wrong, or just bieng confused by another actions.
Generally good natured, he tries to help out those in trouble, to the best of his own ability... though that only spans so far.

Iteru & Futoeki Kyomutentan

Gender: Male & Male
Species: Weremutt & Weremutt
Origin: Gaia & Gaia
Appearance: Iteru and Futoeki have generally the same build, even though they're fraternal twins. Futoeki could be considered to be a little bit more in shape than his twin, but its hardly noticeable. The two are budding teenagers now, not quite old enough for the grand dispersal of body hair, but old enough for the rest of the problems. They seem to be spared achene's wrath for the time being.
Clothing Style: Iteru: is alittle bit better dressed than his twin, if only because his clothes tend to last longer. He prefers light blues, grays, purples, soft colors that are easy on the eyes. Though he does have as much creativity as Futoeki in choosing his wardrobe.
Futoeki: loves to wear bright obnoxious colors, orange, green, and so on... though it tends to look good when he's done. His clothes don't last long as he's usually the one leading the way on the two's adventures.
Both always wear their power-bead bracelets (seen in referece)

Personality:
Iteru: can be somewhat reserved when it comes to interactions, though he holds the same sort of spunk as his twin. He was the second born, and true to the stereotype on birth order affecting extroversion. However, his more withheld nature allows him to pick up more details than his twin, learning more... and paying attention to the entire picture. He often works as a safeguard for his brother, slowing him down, pointing things out, and so on.
Despite the halo and bright appearance, Iteru also holds more to the demonic nature of his blood. Nothing strong, however his mind works in crafty ways that he keeps to himself. As a child, this went unnoticed, but as he's matured into a teenager, he's becoming more and more adept to thinking outside the box. A sense of morals, and his dear twin keep him from anything further than thoughts.

Futoeki: is a rambunctious ball of energy, obviously stemming from the canine DNA in his blood, he holds a very excitable attention, getting him into trouble more often than not. He rushes in head first, usually needing Iteru to slow him down... though his excitement can be contagious, and drag the other boy straight in with him. He's learning to keep himself toned down, but he's still highly excitable, usually he needs to take this energy out in sports, working very well in teams. Unlike Iteru, he holds no dangerous thoughts, even though verging on air headed hid intentions are always good, and always thinking about others first, especially Iteru.

Species: "Nobody"
Origin: Kingdom Hearts II OC
Appearance: Jaxulinn looks as though she could be 12, even though she's in her 20s. She has a very cute and innocent look about her, that she works hard to maintain for various reasons (See personality).
Clothing Style: Aside from her organization coat, she wears alot of odd Mayan mixed with urban styled clothes. And various other things you'd see out of Kingdom hearts. She has style, its just abnormal style.
A key part of her wardrobe is the beads in her hair, she often changes them out to fit a setting.

Jaxulinn has a strange personality... She's not the strongest physically, relying on her powers and her rats to fight. Therefore, she tries her best to keep the illusion of being someone others need to protect. Her cute disposition and looks tend to help her keep up a sweet and innocent facade, whereas she rather enjoys both perversions (very few people know though) and dastardly deeds.
By acting like this, she obtains friends that she can hide behind in case of danger. That doesn't mean she doesn't legitimately like people, she just tends to think for herself first. The thing that seemed to vanish when she became a nobody, and lost her heart, was a true sense of guilt.
She also has something against mickey mouse... So do her rats.

Origin: Futuristic setting, the year 2040ish, 20 years after a massive system crash caused the near destruction of humanity.
Ask for details if you need to do something related to the setting! <3
Appearance: Matts roughly 20, just coming out of his teen years. He has a sort of soft build to him, not fat yet, just because he has limited access to food and has to wander everywhere... if he lost those he'd probably plump out just cause he doesn't like to walk fast. He's also got a constant state of dirt on him... he's a wanderer, and avoids baths in general, so he's become quite the hobo. He does do whats necessary, like... well. His precious manbits XD;;
Clothing Style: Matt wears whatever's easiest to get on and off, his clothes generally stay the same (see his reference picture) because he has no access to clothing anywhere else. Anything he does find, he usually uses to repair his current wardrobe. He has a hobos style. The clothes really reflect how he refuses to bathe and sleeps in the dirt.
If you want to do a spoof picture, feel free to put him in whatever you want. A big part of his character is that he's very much gay, which isn't allowed in the setting, its taboo. It'd be funny to see him dressed up a little. xD

Hair Style: Matted and messy! He hasn't brushed it in at least 2 years, so it tends to fly everywhere, easily molded by the grease... the only thing that remains consistent is the tiny braid coming out from under his right ear.

Matt is lazy with a capital L. He does anything he can to keep out of work, movement... He just doesn't have the energy to do much. (He has anemia, actually, but they don't have much medical knowhow so no one knows) Still he's smart... more so a book smart, and a fast learner... he just hates doing it. Therefore, all his smarts go to figuring out how to get out of things!
Over the time spent living on his own he's grown to live by a very sturdy "Every man for himself" rule. The only exception to this tends to be his childhood friend, Guy.

Species: Tiger Shark - Human Hybrid
Origin: Gaia - D-corp Lab
Appearance: Simon has a fairly muscular build, having become a rebellious teenager and taken to the streets... Simon gets himself in more than his share of trouble, and plenty of fights... Therefore he's developed the muscle tone to match, and looks threatening in general... but thats probably due to the rows of razor sharp teeth.
Clothing Style: Somewhat of a punk, Simon chooses clothes that make him look tough. So anything really cool in style and tough looking works for him.
He also wears a necklace, beach style, with a shark tooth his little sister gave him at the beach one day. No one knows its from his little sister, except her and his mom.
Hair color: Blue-green with aquamarine tips
Hair Style: Spiked
Eye color: Black pupil, no surrounding color.
Skin color: Off-tan/light brown with white underbelly (see picture)

Personality:
Simon is through and through your basic confused teenage punk. He's not truly evil, he just likes to act it. There will probably come a day when he comes to face someone truely evil, and find a sense of himself that will change him into the adult he has to become. Yeah...
Either way, right now shows no hope of that. He's quick to anger, even in situations where he's worried. Pretty much everything emotional will spark an angry reaction. His short temper often leads him around by the nose, however he's not a bumbling brute as one might think. He's actually quite clever when it comes down to insults and egging others. His bragging skills are exceptional...
He does have some insecurities about what he is, after Bree slipped up and called him a monster, he's gotten it stuck in his head that "I'm a monster, so I'll act like one." the public view of a 500lb shark man hasn't helped him get rid of this idea either.
He also hates his name, says simon's a nerds name and goes by his middle; Jekel. On the streets, he picked up the nickname Hyde.

Derick "were-wolf" Andrews

Origin: Same as Matt *See above*
Appearance: Derick is in his mid to late 30s, and a very.. very hairy fellow... half of the reason where his nickname "werewolf" came from. Dispursed around the face, arms, legs chest and... sadly for him, some on his rump. If the hair wasn't there, he might be attractive... but... it kinda ruins it. He has a strong muscular build, that just seems to match his height.
Clothing Style: He lives out in the deserted areas, workign for the environmentalist side... his clothes are in much better shape than matt's if only because he has a team supporting him. Usually, he sticks to tattered jeans and a tight tank top, torn on one side (see ref)
Hair color: Brown
Hair Style: Uneven short hair, about chin length at the longest, ear at the shortest.
Eye color: Green
Skin color: Tan, from sun exposure.

Height: 6'5" (tall!)

Personality:
Derick is all around a gentle giant, his looks, his height, everything about him looks intimidating, but inside he's just a big puppy. He holds alot of guilt over the years, from all the fighting... he feels bad about everyone he's seen die, until he's taken up fighting on his own. He keeps the dogtags of everyone he's lost in the line of duty on a chain on his hip... others just assume its of those he's taken down... and he doesn't correct them. It gives him that fear that lets him work alone.
His nickname comes from that rumor, the fact that he's practically furry combined with the idea that he turns into a beast when fighting, they call him the werewolf. This isn't true at all, in reality, but nonetheless hangs around him.
Inside this hard cold outer shell is, as I've already said, a big puppy... he gets easily attached to those around him, constantly frets about others, and can be fairly oblivious. He doesn't really understand the concept of homosexuality, and often reacts in an almost fearful way around those strange acting men, avoiding the idea best he can. Generally though, he's naive enough not to notice until its pointed out... the same goes for cross dressers, such as Rosa posing as a man.

GaiaVid Specifics: he's got a temper at this point... and a very bitter outlook towards others... he thinks humans are weak and pathetic, and tends to look down on them and their traditions. XD Including child rearing... he can also be very cocky at times.

Generally a simple mordern-ish look suites him. As a note, he's has his bag with him 90% of the time, if not more. He's rarely seen without it. It's a fairly simple black laptop bag that never really holds a laptop.

Clothing Style: Keanu's clothing style tends to be fairly lightweight things, tending to be more loose. He's prone to wearing bandages on places where things get ripped rather than mending them. He HATES shoes and never wears them, opting for binding his feet with foot bindings rather than any kind of shoes. He never wears heavy winter clothes due to the fact he easily overheats in most seasons, and is best fit in a tanktop. Generally fairly simple, plain, but sturdy clothes are best. Though jeans are about the heaviest material he'd wear aside from the leader gloves he generally sports as armguards.

He's adventurous to the point it's dangerous, quite stuck in the hero/knight mentality. Personality- Naito is...a bit nutty and not in the good way. Sure, she can be sweet and amusing, but in the long run she ends up doing more damage than good. Let's just say that sometimes government testing can lead to horrible monstrosities, Naito is a perfect example of this. Her hobbies include writing conspiracy theories, baking horrible sugary things and dancing naked in front of the bathroom mirror.

Appearance- Naito is the type of person who enjoys being clever with her outfits (...in a wild sort of way, that in the end just looks bad >_> ). Often times a combination of colorful scarves, skirts, and mismatched leggings, along with a good pair of a** kicking black boots, the woman is ready for any occasion. Yet her favorite item of apparel and the one she is seen most often in is a (mint green) shirt reading: "HTRM <3" across the front, complete with little octopus in the corner. As for bottoms, Naito is a sucker for skirts. Her favorite skirt is a dark purple pleated one she rummaged out of a garbage can. It's amazing with people will throw away, no? A little short, her skirt barely reaches her middle thigh. This is why (for decency’s sake) she wears a pair of black tight leggings underneath. As for any girl, jewelry is a must, the same goes for Naito who's favorite choice in accessory is a simple pair of mis-matched earings.

Species: If you are drawing his alternate universe self he is simply a plain old regular guy. His Gaia form, however, is...he living dead? biggrin Ha! I wouldn't say he's a zombie or a vampire, but something that's not quite alive and not quite six feet under. Colt lives on souls rather than flesh, it keeps his body moving. Otherwise, if your drawing him in alternate setting its just human, everything else is the same though.
Occupation: Sporadic free-lance hit man and rowdy hoodlum.

Hair- Short, scruffy and un-kept, bangs are parted in the center and longer upfront. Color is fiery red, unclear where the coloring comes from, Colt's hair matches his violent and dangerous temper.
Eyes- Gray. Colt's eyes are a bit dead looking, as if they have clouded up over time, or become water logged.

Personality- Colt is a fire-cracker; cocky, with a short fuse and demanding, if it weren't for his charisma, most people would probably deem him repulsive. However there is something in the man's rude mannerism and speech which is to be found likable. Call it guts, Colt does what only few dare to dream, he does what he wants too, and those who stand in his way be damned. Smoking, drinking, he does it all and is especially unabashed when it comes to licentious behaviors.

Appearance- As far as fashion goes, during his early days Colt took to wearing the street and punk fashions of all major inter-gaian cities. Blacks, reds, leather belts with spikes, ripped t-shirts, tight pants, leather items and buttons with strange novelty words written on them, the quintessential word here being, "punk", every day fashion’s of Colts. Though at home solids, shorts, boxers things like that will do. He's not a fan of colors, or dressing himself so anything simple and plain is great news for him.

Distinguishing features: A massive amount of piercings not to mention a cross shaped tattoo starting at his navel, and ending down somewhere--well, somewhere rather naughty. All included Colt has seven piercings; 4 upper ear, one eyebrow( ight eye) and one nose. He has also recently added a tongue piercing.

Personality- Frank and open, loyal and a sweet individual Paxton is the sort of trusty friend anyone would love to have around. He's not always a leader, but defiantly someone who sticks around to the bitter end, no matter what. Kind of a spazz, sometimes Paxton says and does things which cause problems for others, and therefore he has made an enemy or two in his years. When it comes to getting a life Paxton has one and it usually revolves around flirting with girls and hanging out with friends. Sadly, Paxton is the type of guy who is always the friend and never the boyfriend. Still, the lovebird doesn't care...he's just that kind of guy, why worry about this sort of things?

Appearance- Unlike most boys his age Paxton takes pride in his personal appearance and spends a bit of time in the bathroom each morning. He likes to wear fashionable clothes and follows a metro sexual code of dress. Colors that match well with him are solids dark black and sometimes softer pastels, which he gets crap for wearing but isn't afraid to put the clothing on anyway. His usual clothing includes pretty standard shirts, tighter fitting pants, perhaps a vest or sweatshirt. Paxton doesn't like shoes as they make it more difficult to fly and he's prone to wear shirts that have no back as it's difficult to fit wings through a t-shirt. Character : Guy

Name- Guy Johnathan McClellan
Pronunciation- Just as it sounds, his mother was cruel~
Gender- Male
Species- Human (Futuristic setting, the year 2040ish, 20 years after a massive system crash caused the near destruction of humanity.)
Age- Twenty (Young >> )
Occupation- Previously a solider (front line infantry), currently a runaway.

Hair- Color is a sandy brown or a rather dirty blond depending on how you want to look at it. While he wasn't required to shave it, Guy none the kept with regulations and kept his hair short. Over the past few months or so, the left side has grown rather busy and also a bit longer while the right has stayed more or less the same. The length of his hair is no longer than the back of his neck, however, if you feel inclined to draw it a bit longer you may do so. I'm sure the longer he stayed away from "civilization", the longer it would get, just be sure not to make it look too long and also to have it tied back. Guy is not the sort of character whom if he had long hair would wear it down.
Eyes- Darker green, faded emerald, the shape of his eyes is fairly sharp. They definitely are not his best feature, more narrow than wide, they can sometimes make him look irritated or cross.

Build- Guy has a runners body type, something which of course is not natural, but something Guy has gained through hours and hours of...well, you guessed it, running. His favorite hobby, sport and a way to clear his mind, if he can Guy will run a good hour or two everyday. This exercise unfortunately doesn't bulk him up but makes him look thinner than he really is, two good words to describe this body type would be sinewy and lanky.

Personality- The thing about Guy is that he's just you're everyday normal average nice guy...his name's just a little weird is all. Guy is honest, a hard worker and a man who never goes back on a promise. These qualities may make him seem a bit stern and boring at times, but they make it impossible to argue his genuine sincerity and good intention. Even if he lacks the talents or intelligence to go far in life, he puts his best effort forward and is recognized for the high quality of his his work. On a more personal level Guy likes too joke with those around him, he doesn't have many friends, so the ones he does have he knows on a close level. He may act pretty open, as he likes to talk and ramble a lot, but most often he keeps his emotions sealed.

Appearance- Guy doesn't have much fashion sense, nor does he really care about it. His clothes while clean have become worn down and raggedy over the years due to excessive use. While he used to be wearing a uniform, what remains now is only some semblance of it. The dark green pants that reach down to his ankles would be in fair condition if it weren't for a large hole on the right knee. Guy's shirt is a different matter however, except for a few fraying strands at the bottom it functions fairly well, black and long sleeved, its a type of fabric that while thin keeps the wearer warm. Over his shirt Matt wears what used to be a standard uniform coat but by this time has become more of a vest. Heavy, think and green like his pants, it would look fairly unshapely if it were not for the straps on either shoulder and collar which spreads outwards. Guy does wear a heavy tan belt but it can not be seen under his coat. Other accessories that complete Guy's outfit include a pair of heavy black boots, and also a thick poncho (that can be drawn in a variety of colors and various styles).

Other: Guy's most noticeable feature is his messy five o'clock shadow, it never seems to disappear. Scratchy but lovable, Guy just wouldn't be the same with out the mess of hair running along from the sides of his face, to under his nose and around his chin.

Where his neck meets the base of his back, probably just under where the collar of a shirt would come up Guy has a "tattoo" (just a tat made the old fashioned way, not by ink but with charcoal) of the Roman Catholic Cross. Not only painful, but also difficult to complete, its a rather small tattoo. If you draw Guy with his back exposed please be sure to include this tattoo.

Species- Cursed human, most of the time she looks natural and human but can definitely look monstrous sometimes. Normal, Ghostly.

Occupation- Guide, wanderer, protector of travelers and of the peace.

Hair- Blond longer than shoulder length but stops before it hits her complete lower, bangs are choppy and short in the front, longer on the sides. Gabriela's hair is always kept down and never up, sometimes it can curl at the tips and if you wish to show her looking more ghostly than human you may add a bit of red to the tips.
Eyes- Blue, they are quite the strange works of nature. Dark blue on the outside with a watery almost gray on the inside, when she isn't trying to put on a human appearance, is angry, upset, scared or out of emotional control they tend to glow an unnatural electric blue.
Height- 5'8"

Build- Thin to curvy, there are a variety of ways you are allowed to draw her. However, please take into account the personality you are going for, does she look more dead, creepy, etc. or more alive and happy? You see where I'm going with this. ;3

Personality- Sad, strange, quite and yet somehow kindly and outspoken in her own way, Gabriela is a loner and lost soul. This girl spends her days trotting around the various paths of Gaia and other parts of the world and is a character I often adapt to fit many types of settings.

Appearance- Originally Gabriela was an adaptation of my Gaian avatar, can ya tell? She's grown over the years however and developed several styles, you are welcome to draw her based off the original avatar: [See Here] or you can develop your own take on the outfit. If you draw her more on the wild side, i.e. ghostly, I would suggest perhaps a different outfit: [X] or [X], either way you see you can get a bit creative. Yes, her horse is rather dead looking isn't it?

Character: Keivlos

Name- Keivlos Anthony Crossette
Pronunciation- Key-v-los
Gender- Male
Species- Human-crow hybrid, genetically engineered species.
Age- Currently thirteen years old, however feel free to draw him as a teenager or older.
Occupation- Genetic experiment of D-corp, student and probably future employee of the company as well.

Hair- White, gray, silver or any variation thereof, its hard to pick a specific shade for Keivlos' hair is. At a length that reaches down to his shoulders, Keivlos wears his hair in a bob style. It may seem unfashionable, but with the cut hidden under his messengers cap it's barely noticeable. With shorter bangs in front, parted to either side, the left having a bit more hair than the right, Keivlos looks like your average sloppy teenage boy.
Eyes- Keivlos' left eye is red while is right eye is a silvery gray, or simply silver depending on how you interpret it. Unlike his brother who was born with one red and one eye of dark brown, Keivlos seems to have a vision impairment in both of his eyes. His sight is poor, which often leads him into trouble or upset.
Height-5"5' (Please note that if you draw Keivlos with his brother Revon, please draw Keivlos and Revon at THE SAME HEIGHT. Keivlos and Revon are twins, except for their eyes and clothing style nearly everything should be the exact same, this includes height!)
Weight- Unkown
Build- Keivlos is thin, he is not muscular in anyway shape or form. His body type is not the most visually appealing, but none the less looks good for his bird-like frame. Keivlos is rather the type that would solve his problems through mental trickery or bribery and does not enjoy physical fighting. I would suspect, however, that despite being so small and sickly, he would be rather quick.

Personality- While I hate to stick to stereotypes Keivlos would unquestionable be placed under the category of mentally unstable...or rather, maybe he's just a little bit crazy. The strange abilities of his DNA over the years have left him feeling alienated and odd, in turn this isolation over time has driven him to the extreme that he is today. He has trouble with social interactions, including speaking and will often remain quite rather than talk...this doesn't mean he cannot, however. Keivlos is an extremely smart child, smarter than most individuals will give him credit for, he pushes the buttons because his parental unit and mentors have never told him 'no'. Preferring only the company of solitude Keivlos does not keep nor get close to many people, the only two beings around him that hold his attention are his brother (whom he is currently not speaking too) and his Dragon, Dima, that D-corp gave him.

Other: As you may have noticed in some of his reference pictures, Kevilos looks a little...mad? I'd prefer if you didn't make him look quite so homicidal. I currently have as many pictures of him as I want looking like a rampaging killer. You're welcome to draw a little blood in the picture, as he loves the coloring of it, eats raw meat, and often seems to injure himself in ways which would cause him to bleed, but please, no gratuitous amounts of gore. Remember, I need you to keep it PG-13, don't go overboard Gaia standards.

Characters: Vincent and Rosa

Vincent and Rosa are characters from a futuristic post-apocalyptic setting. They are unique in the fact that even though they are male and female twins they look very similar, not completely alike, but both are highly androgynous. (Enough so that each can pass off as the other to some poor soul whom isn't paying enough attention).

Because of the dangerous time they live in, a world where it is no longer safe for women or single travelers, Vincent poses as Rosa and she vice versa as Vince. In other words, one is really a female dressed and acting as a male and the other is a male dressed and acting as a female.

While I would like art of them as playing these roles, I also would enjoy art of them playing themselves. Especially because each character, despite wearing clothes that aren't fashioned for them (especially in the case of Vince) beneath the cloth Rosa is still female and Vince male.

When drawing Vince or Rosa, it is especially important to distinguish personality in the picture and also the small details (which are discussed below).


Name- Rosa Elena Renow (Simply goes by Rosa)
Gender- Female, outwardly typically dresses as male.
Species- Human (Living in futuristic setting)
Age- 23
Occupation- Rosa, having escaped the concentration camps of her time, has since dedicated her life to changing the way things are run in the world. She runs and operates her own refugee camp of sorts, helping whoever may need a hand. While her operations are not powerful enough yet to invade the stronghold her brother is being held at, her ultimate goal is to break him free. All in all, she's a robin hood in her own right, a rebel whom is seen by the people as a hero and seen by those trying to gain power as a bandit.

Hair-Dark black, as a man she keeps it short and does her best to make sure it's messy. Bangs are parted with the part on the right a bit bigger than the one on the left the length reaches just past the tips of her ears. Depending upon the weather when down it has the tendency to be strait with a slight wave towards the tips, when longer the wave is more apparent. (For how Rosa wears her hair when in other circumstances see "alternate outfit" ).

Skin color- On the lighter side of olive, her mother was of Middle Eastern descent and her father an American mutt.

Eyes- Rosa and Vince both share the feature of striking blue eyes. In the light they look especially bright, but on average, it is the feature about them which would catch your eye.
Height- 5"7
Weight- Averaging between 130 to 135lbs
Build- Delicate, they are shorter petite people. In contrast to her brother, whom may be thinner and on the verge of looking as if he does not get enough to eat, Rosa is a fairly active and also fit character. While she is smaller, she is stronger than she looks.

Personality- Tomboyish, loud, stubborn, bit of a feminist, like an actor trying to keep up the front of their outward appearance, Rosa likes to act like a dominate male man. In the end it creates more comic effect than actual authoritative presence because of her small size and stature. While she would love to laugh and fun, her life has currently taken a more serious tone and she spends much of her time working, trying to make life better for those around her. Organized, except when the situation turns to panic, she's a rather a smart and resourceful person. In the end her best ability is her charisma, when in need, her warm mannerisms and attitude tend to rally those around her.

Appearance- While Rosa likes to keep her hair messy, forcing herself to stay dirty is almost too much of a chore. While not immaculate, she takes standard good care of herself, i.e. bathing and somewhat clean clothes. Around her neck Rosa wears a red bandanna, which can be drawn with or without patterning. She wears nothing in her hair, or face; the only items the outfit consists of besides the neckwear are a jacket, pants and pair of cowboy boots. Her jacket, consisting of navy on the center, and tan on the outside is lined on either side with golden colored buttons. It's a heavy coat and is built to cover and hide her chest. (For a better reference please see references below). Rosa's pants can be drawn either as jeans or Khakis, while not too tight, they certainly aren't baggy. She keeps them up with a large utility belt of sorts, something large enough to hold a holster, the edges are a bit tattered and here and there is a smudge of dirt, but seeing as they are perhaps the only pair of pants she wears, she keeps them in good working order. Rosa's boots go outside of her pants, in other words, the bottoms of her pants tuck into the boots. The cowboy boots Rosa wears are mostly solid brown with spatters of cream colored design at the tips and top of the boots. (Colors however, can be adjusted to work with what looks best) They are well worn and perhaps a bit big for her feet, but leave her well equipped for lots of walking, fighting etc.

Name- Vincent Bryan Renow (Can go by either Vince or Vincet)

Occupation- Vince lives inside a prisoners or concentration camp of sorts, he lives a hidden life in which he is passing himself off as a women. It's a very risky move and therefore he does his best to keep a low profile. He escapes detection through tricks and bribes and has to be unusually on his toes. Like his sister he has a tendency to panic in situations of high-stress or emergency. He is better at thinking ahead in the long term than the short turn. While he dreams of escape the possibility of getting out is highly unlikely, therefore he spends most of his time trying to biding for the best opportunity. Inside the camp, along with the other women he works to do the tasks which require menial labor, such as growing food, cooking, retrieving water.

Hair-Dark black, being disguised as a woman he keeps it long to his shoulders at the very least. Most typically Vince likes to keep his hair down, with a ribbon to hold his bangs out of his face. Like his sisters, depending upon the weather when down his hair has the tendency to be strait with a slight wave towards the tips, when longer the wave is more apparent. Skin color- On the lighter side of olive, her mother was of Middle Eastern descent and her father an American Mutt.

Eyes- Rosa and Vince both share the feature of striking blue eyes. In the light they look especially bright, but on average, it is the feature about them which would catch your eye.

Weight- Usually 130, however, can get as low as 120-115.
Build- Delicate, they are shorter, pettier people. In contrast to his sister, Vince is quite thin nearing the verge of not getting enough to eat. He is physically fairly weak.

Personality- While he can put on a show from time to time, Vince's hard life has turned him docile and quiet. More of an artistic soul, the everyday brutality he sees has slowly slipped him into a depression, though he tries his best to keep going and help those around him, he's quite lonely. Vince often dreams that his sister, on the outside, will someday find and come help him escape. Though, he realizes the chances of that are even more slim than himself escaping. Around those he knows and trusts he is more sweet, a genteel male, even if he had the opportunity to be his real self he would be laid back. Vince is a character whom borders quickly between happy and sad, but is more often put into situations which keep him down. To sum it up, Vince is a poor and lonely desperado.


Appearance- Vince is expected to keep himself conservatively dressed, but at the same time appealing. His surrounding circumstances require that he do his best to look his best. To keep his hair neat and tidy he uses a stripped ribbon or rather, strip of cloth to keep it tied back or up in a pony tail. The shirt he wears underneath is a sleeveless turtleneck with high collar, but is usually covered up with an overcoat/jacket. This Jacket also has a high collar with a single button in front. It doesn't zip up, or close, it just sort of flares out about the chest to cover up Vince's flat lack of breasts. The sleeves are short and stop around the fore-arm or even a bit higher, and poof at the shoulder. Color-wise the shirt underneath would be a dark burnt orange and the top a tan or khaki color. Besides his shirt and jacket, Vince wears a dark red skirt which is made of thicker fabric but has the tendency to pleat and is rather fluffy. At the top, the waist band bunches. Underneath the skirt Vince wears thick tights so that nothing shows. His only pair of shoes, Vince wears a pair of knee high black riding boots.

Please remember the following when drawing Vince:
-Typically Vince may be dressed as a girl, but this does not mean he absolutely looks like one. He and his sister are rather androgynous and if you removed the clothes he was wearing and put him in jeans and a shirt he should look like a boy.
-He is not a flaming "gay" and in fact would probably think of dating a female as more natural, but will sleep with both men and women
-Vince has a weak personality. He does not smile often and if he does it is a weak smile at that. He's soft but not too feminine.

Name- Madeline (Antoinette) Crossette III (Goes by Madeline or Ms. Crossette)

Species- Human, lives on Gaia but is rather sheltered

Occupation- Substitute Teacher at D-Corp( a B&C shop)

Hair- Blonde, shoulder length but it becomes quite curly at the tips making the length more to about her chin. Naturally it is strait; the curls are from a perm. She wears a white headband to keep it pulled back and out of her eyes.
Eyes- A dull blue of sorts, they are rather a dark navy in the center.
Skin Color- Pale in the winters, darker in the summers, she will tan for summer time (a.k.a. bathing suit season).
Height- 5"
Weight- A lady never reveals her weight!
Build- Madeline is quite average, she痴 not completely fit or thin and still has her love handles and curves. Never the less, these things are not all too noticeable and never grotesque in proportion, in fact they provide her with a pretty nice sized chest. :<

Personality- For most people, the words "Ice Queen" come to mind when meeting Madeline. Why shouldn't they? The woman has all the charm and looks of a perfect boarding school brat. Madeline believes in all things civilized and proper, the key to life is following the rules, and enjoying the simple pleasures along the way is only the icing on the cake. Madeline she may not be sugary sweet, yet, she is neither as chill or harsh as some. Consider her a mix of the traits, a woman on medium ground. After all, how horrible can someone be if they like children? If you break past her exterior layer she is still rather a giddy school girl a heart. Blushing, laughing on occasion she'll even let loose and go a little wild, but of course, this is only under the influence of old time friends.

Appearance- Come rain or shine, there is always one thing you can count on Madeline to be wearing...and that is either a dress or skirt. Location permitting, she will also probably be wearing a pair of white or pink pump heals. Madeline is all about proper etiquette and attire. She believes in wearing feminine clothing. You will probably find lots of pinks and whites in her closet, along with many earrings and necklaces. If you draw her you may either use the references provided, pink overcoat, pink heals white long sleeved shirt and shorter white skirt However, this is one character you may draw her in various outfits as she would probably often change her clothing.

Personality:
Deep down, Tobias is a fun-loving, playful, and kind person. Unfortunately, that person is buried under a snaky, sarcastic, and terribly crude exterior. He almost makes a hobby out of pushing the wrong buttons. Most people immediately dismiss him as little more than a disrespectful whelp. Much of the time, his behavior is to simply keep everyone around him at arm’s length. He’s very slow to trust and even slower to respect. Only once in his life has he ever taken a knee before anyone, an act that earned him a few of his scars in the presence of those who would consider themselves worthy of his respect. He serves as the virtue knight of defiance, a lone knight representing a questionable virtue. He is very talented in combat, however, and has proved time and again that he will take the most virtuous side in a fight.

Personality:
Thomas is cold and distant, but a perfect gentlemen in public. He's deathly serious, easily offended by anything crude or ill-mannered, sporting a short temper, and an intolerance for anything he sees as unlawful, indecent, or improper. He spends much of his time alone in his manor, studying or practicing basic spells to keep himself sharp. Few know much about him and he likes to keep it that way. He was once a devoted husband and father, the loss of his family hardened him dramatically.
The only two people that he actually enjoys spending his time with (in one setting) are Alhora, whom he has fallen insanely in love with, and Edward, who he has come to love as a son.
On Gaia (Remember, he's played in a few settings), Thom spends his time lusting over Arafel, doing what he feels he can to help the woman provide for her family without over-stepping his boundaries. He has grown increasingly frustrated by the woman's ignorance towards his advances and will often times vent his frustration on the first person that crosses him soon after.
In both settings he seems to have a mild obsession with unicorns.

As a Metis, Silence has difficulty completely hiding parts of his werewolf self as the metis' primary form is the Crinos form. His tail is almost always showing, he only goes through the trouble of hiding it on very rare occasions. Now a middle-aged man, Silence can be described as fairly good looking. He has gentle eyes and a soft smile most of the time. While he’s never been able to grow much of a beard, he does have stubble around his lip and chin that give him more of a scruffy look. He’s normally very well groomed, dressed simply in a pair of brown pants and a white long-sleeve shirt. The most noticeable feature is his horns. Shaped like spiraled ram horns, their his mark for being born a metis.

In wolf form he’s large enough to be ridden on by an average-sized person. His horns remain though they’re far more noticeable. As a wolf he has a dusty blonde color that fades darker towards the top of his back and white towards his belly and the end of his tail.

Silence is massive for a werewolf, part of his metis curse. In this form he looks very much like the monsters of popular folklore. Still the same colors as the wolf form, he stands on two legs with hand-like paws tipped in thick, ebony claws.

Personality:
Silence is very easy to get along with. He’s soft spoken and tries to be as encouraging as he can. He’s obviously very big into his faith, often bringing it into conversations by way of reciting Bible stories or verses. He typically sings Christian songs while playing his guitar though, strangely enough, he avoids anything that’s overly preachy in public, knowing very well his religion isn’t practiced in the realm. He’s often accused of being a pansy. He tends to feel extremely guilty if he offends. He apologizes often, stuttering in extreme cases of discomfort. Cody is crude, bull-headed, and confrontational around guys. He sees every other male as some kind of challange. If they happen to be...less than masuline- he makes it his personal mission in life to toughen them up and cover them in bruises. He has a strong disliking of the homosexual lifestyle, there are a good deal of individuals in D-corp who dislike him for just that reason. However, he means well. He tends to jump into things rather than think anything through, especially when it comes to the protection of his tribe. He keeps a lot to himself. Only Cae has ever really heard him express his personal feelings on anything.

Proud, quiet, reserved, and distant- Fealare was the stereotypical brat prince as a youth. Spoiled by his father, ignored by his mother, and pampered by those within the palace. He buried himself into his studies and training, closing himself off from many of the things a normal child would have enjoyed. He takes -everything- very seriously, and unlike his father, takes the time to think his decisions through. He, however, does have a quiet wild side that often emerges in the form of an escape from the palace, giving his servants hell, or testing his bodyguards in playful attempts to avoid his daily routine. He doesn't believe that he will ever fall in love, nor does he particularly want to. He seems more dedicated to his duty as king than he ever could to any one person.

Horus doesn't seem to have a personality. Used as a magical tool for much of his life, he was never told to express joy, anger, sorrow, or rage. At all times he has a vacent look on his face, though on occassion he can look eager or confused- depending on the command given. Tayn has spent years trying to break Horus from his 'shell'. A smirk's as much of a smile as he's achieved, however. He does as he's told- no matter who tells him to do it. For that very reason, he's kept secret as possible.
