For the Horde!!

The story: I have been saving up for a while for an art contest and now I have a good reason for epic arts! See, in the near future a certain troll is getting married. What is even better, we met in WoW and thus we'll be adding a little purple to the ceremony. As I have a lot of friend online who would not be able to make it to the wedding, I was hoping to get some art of my characters so I can build a web page for them to visit and do an online signature guestbook thing.

7th Apr: In an effort to gain a little more interest I have decided to add in mini monthly art contests! As this month is my birthday the theme will be birthdays! (surprise, surprise). You can pick any of my characters (single or group) and draw them celebrating their birthday! Any art submitted can also qualify for the main contest upon it's closure.
10th Mar: I have decided to extend the contest for another two months to see if I can gather any more interest. Please feel free to leave commentary on why or why you would not join this contest. (Is it the prizes? The characters are boring? Too much info to read? You don't want your art shared with others? ect.)
12th Feb: I just found out I'm pregnant so any baby bump pictures of Malis would be greatly adored. <3

The people in question: Nazurak is a Belf pally and my main character is Malis, a troll shaman. I have more characters in the list than that and many of them belong to close friends (some who will be in the party) and others are very close characters to our characters. I am looking for art of any of mine or Naz's characters and many of the relationships are posted in their descriptions. If you have any questions, please, do not hesitate to ask!

We just picked up some new foster kittens so this month's theme is babies! You can either draw Malis or Rynn pregnant, either of them with babies or any of my other characters with baby nieces or nephews. Ideas and poses...

I have many ideas and poses I'd like to see. They are not necessarily an immediate win, but at the same time, some of them may tickle me pink to see.

Malis and Naz:
New: Malis is preggy! (IRL too! *grins*) So anything involving Malis blimp sized or Malis and Naz with baby troll would be awesome.
*Anything showing height or messing with it. I have a few pieces of either her taking a pygmy potion to grow smaller, or him taking a troll potion to get bigger. Even having her pulling him off his fet as she hugs him would be fun!
*Something lovey-dovey, or maybe him chasing her and her not getting it, or maybe even getting the wrong idea.
*An adventure idea. They go adventuring a lot. She is a healer and keeps him out of scrapes, he likes to pull things... a lot... a lot a lot...
*I really want to see Malis in her new garb! [x] With the two huge fans that look like the one she is holding in the example.

Malis and Rynn:
*These two are old, old, old friends by now. I would love something showing this.
*An adventuring picture. You can even include Naz and Zev! In that case, Zev would be doing something cool, Naz would be tanking, Rynn would be fire support from the rear and Malis would be trying to keep everyone alive.
*Something motherly. Rynn is a new mother (or at least will be depending on where in the storyline we are.) Something concerning Malis giving Rynn advice would be cute.

Rynn and Zev:
*Anything loving like together watching the stars, or maybe enjoying a day at the market (Well Rynn would be enjoying, Zev would be trying not to get caught while 'borrowing' the merchandise.)
*Adventuring against the demons. This is something they have done a lot together in the past when they were first becoming close friends. A good setting would be where they first met: Demon Fall Canyon.
*Rynn and Zev fighting: This would be a special piece about a part of the RPs that is to come. Zev becomes a demon hunter and seals a demon inside his chest to protect Rynn and their child. Rynn gets the wrong idea as she just finally escaped a contract with the demons and they end up in an epic fight against each other as tempers flare.

Malis and her brood:
*I'd love to see more pictures concerning Malis and her family. She could be teaching them or maybe discussing the finer points in life.
*Malis having a day out with her baby sister Nekali
*Malis and Tai catching up. Malis left Tai'jin in Booty Bay to be raised by an Orc. Tai ended up looking for Malis but didn't find where she was until it was too late. Later, Tai saves Malis' life and looses her connection to the spirits because of it. It would be interesting to see a pic of them chatting with some of that in the background.
*Tai'jin introducing Malis to her mate Rokhan. I don't have him made up so you can choose whatever. His sisters are Louku and Demara so you can work out genetics from them!
*Malis and Louku exploring Pandaria. When Malis decided to visit the land that her ancestors may have been, Louku decided to go with her and learn more about the Pandarian.
*Nekali training with the Pandaren Monks

Idris and Varicella:
*Something simple to show the opposing sides of the two friends, even though both paths were not really chosen by either of them.
*Idris and Malis: It would be hilarious to see how well they got along!
*Rynn and Varicella: Rynn forsook the demons and went back to becoming a mage, Varicella, while she does not dabble into the fel-energies as she used to, is still deeply indebted to the demons.
*Either of the friends crossing paths with the others. It will happen, you get to decide when or where!

The Main Characters

Malis

Name: Malis Vitterfolk
Relation: Rynn's confidence and protector
Species: Zandalari Troll
Gender: Female
Height: 9'6
Body type: Pear but curvy. She doesn't have huge boobs but she does have broad shoulders and lithe muscles.
Skin: Pale blue with darker tribal swirlies and markings around her right eye, arms and legs, and twining around her back and belly.
Hair: Bright, thick red dreads, with golden bangles decorating them.
Details: Malis only has one tusk (on the left) the other broke off in a fight with a dragon. She also wears a necklace of three dragon claws strung up on a leather thong around her neck.
Expression: Always happy-go-lucky, she is a very gregarious and fun loving troll. Think of her much like Mama Odie or Augrah when she gets all 'motherly' on you. She acts very young at heart and has a long fuse but you face a mother's wrath if ever provoked.
Personality: Malis is a grandmother (her daughter Tai'jin has a little baby girl, Zanya) and loves to tell everyone about it. She would be the kind of grandma who is still racing cars at 68 or journeying through the wilderness when she should be at home. The love of travel and urge of wanderlust has never left her and Malis loves to meet new people and learn about new cultures. She is the Ambassador of the Zandalari and takes her position seriously.
Clothing: Either her 'normal garb' a blue dress with a long sleeveless dark red robe over the top, the shaman tier 12 and Sulferas or the shaman tier 14 and the large dual fans.

Rynn

Name: Amirynth Niaomi Delnaria
Relation: Malis' blood sister and best friend, Wife of Zevron
Species: Blood elf
Gender: Female
Height: 4'10
Body type: Sickly skinny, small boobs, straight as a poker with a tiny bit of hip. She's usually covered in robes though which gives her a little shape.
Skin: Pale skin with freckles. She has scarring over her right eye (the dead one) and if any skin shows she has patches of scaling (think eczema)
Hair: Long red hair, her bangs are brushed over her right eye while she has a braid to her left side.
Details: Her right eye is silvery and dead, while her left is the normal fel green. She is almost always accompanied by a small brown and white rat named 'Lil Zev'
Expression: Rynn is very shy but is a little more open around her close friends (aka Malis or her husband Zev) She is meek and quiet but has an inner strength about her.
Personality/history: Amirynth is my little punching bag when it comes to characters. Her original version started out in a Ravenloft game where she was cursed so that when she cast her spells she unknowingly used the life force of the people around her to cast them. She had no idea that she was slowly killing her companions! In WoW she is still cursed but it's because of her decisions in life (a very long story). She is sweet if a little broken and over the course of time she has been through many hardships. However she has blossomed into one of my favorite characters because of this. She is shy and introspective and yet helpful when she can be. There is hints of a child in her near future and so the maternal instinct has given her strength when before she had very little self confidence. Zevron was the gardener who encouraged this blossom to bloom and to this day we are still RPing together, an epic storyline that has spanned over five, almost six years!
Clothing: She prefers heavy robes that cover her entirely, usually red with gold designs along the cuffs and hem. She would never wear anything revealing because of her insecurities.

The Men In Their Lives

Naz

Name: Nazurak D'artordia
Relation: Malis' 'suitor' (In his eyes not hers)
Species: Bloodelf
Gender: Male
Height: 6'5
Skin: Tanned but not too dark
Hair: White in the style of Sephiroth
Body type: Bulky muscles, broad shoulders ect. This is an elf who has spent his years fighting and it shows in his posture and strength.
Details: He has pale blue eyes, three claw marks over his left eye from forehead to cheek. He -always- wears gloves and an eyepatch over his left eye.
Expression: Flirty, he's quite the ladies man <3 [x] <-- very much like the top blond guy
Personality: Naz has a sharp temper and is always quick to the fight however, he knows enough to keep himself out of too much trouble. Quite often serious in outlook, he does has a jovial side when around his friends. A little on the big-headed side he is not shy about giving someone advice on their fighting technique even if they might not ask for it. Currently he is head over heels for Malis though she regards him just as a friend.

Zev

Name: Zevron
Relation: Rynn's husband and love of her life
Species: Highelf
Gender: Male
Height: 5'11
Body type: Lithe, lanky, 'swimmers muscles'. Think Deadpool in terms of slenderness (and many other things really...)
Skin: Mid range tan
Hair: Black and spiky in the back with long bangs framing his face (His hair is always styled perfect, no matter what)
Details: He has pale blue eyes, no marks or scars on his face though he does have a short, black goatee. Zevron -always- has a knife or dagger on him
Expression: Gregarious, confident, bit of a big-mouth, snarky. His humor is much like a cross between Spiderman (cartoon series) and Deadpool and he doesn't always know when to keep his mouth shut.
If you want to see Zev in a movie, just look up Finn from Tangled and up it to a R rating... seriously, it's totally him to a 'T'! He even has 'the smolder'(TM).
Personality: Zevron is a rogue who is a little full of himself. He is much like the kind of people who are all front and do not like to let people get within their candy-coated shell. He has a very dry sense of humor and will often mock people when they are fighting him. He tries to make the best out of every situation and has a knack for things just working out no matter how bizarre the route it took to end up that way. He is master of saying "I meant to do that" and making it look cool as he did it. With Rynn, however, he shows his true colours. She was the first person who made him tongue tied and fall over his feet. He adores her and it has already been proven that he would die for her (More like get his a** kicked, but who's counting).
Clothing: Rogue attire, utilitarian in function, simple in form. Knives, daggers, sharp pointies are a necessary. He usually has on the horde tabard and curved blades hang by his side. He also has a ceremonial dagger given to him by Rynn on their wedding day. (He then used it to cut the cake >_> )

Note: Zev is a highelf like his parents. He was born in Dalaran and wears a ring on a chain around his neck to abate the consistant craving for magic. As a result he never imbued from the Sunwell when it was corrupted and still has his blue eyes. He does have a simple cuff about his wrist that make his eyes seem green on the few times he needs to visit Silvermoon City (usually dragged along by Rynn when she wants to visit Malis.)

The Extra Cast (Troll Edition)

Louku

Name: Louku Shadowtusk
Relations: Sister-by-mate to Tai'jin, is currently traveling with Malis to learn about the Horde. Her siblings are Demara and Rokhan Shadowtusk.
Species: Shatterspear Troll
Gender: Female
Height: 7'10
Body type: Curvy, though she usually ties her boobs down when she is hunting, Louku is a nice hourglass shape.
Skin: Pale blue, almost white though she has darker 'freckles' and her tattoos are a darker blue. She has a dark 'raccoon stripe' across her eyes with four dots across each cheek. Her other tattoos are found on her shoulders and arms if visible.
Hair: Louku has thick white hair that is often tied back in a high ponytail. A single braid falls over her left shoulder.
Details: Her tusks are smaller than most though still visible. Her main pet is a spirit tiger names after her old best friend, Voriya, who disappeared during the shattering.
Expression: Quiet and thoughtful, Louku enjoys the presence of her animal companions as well as her best friend and sister-by-mate, Tai'jin.
Personality/history: Louku lived in the small village of Shatterspear, cut off from much of the outer world until the Shattering. Since then Nightelves have been attacking their village and there seemed to be little chance for them. Then the Horde stepped in and gave them a helping hand. Tai'jin, a troll who ended up learning to become a druid, came to live with the Shatterspear after relations soured with the druids during the initial attacks. There she met Louku's brother, Rokhan, and became her sister. Louku is rather introspective about everything and feels it must have happened for a reason. Finding her own desire to see the newly opened world, she followed Malis back to the Horde to learn more about their new allies.
Clothing: She is a spirit hunter and thus follows the shaman path as well as the one of the hunter. Her garb is a mix of the two.

Tai

Name: Tai'jin Vitterfolk
Relation: Malis' daughter, Mate of Rokhan Shadowtusk, Sister-by-mate of Louku
Species: Zandalari-Darkspear Troll
Gender: Female
Height: 8'11
Body type: Much like Malis, she is pear shaped with broad shoulders. Her bust is bigger than Malis though, with a little less curves but she has muscles.
Skin: Troll blue, slightly darker than Malis' She also has tribal markings around her arms, legs and shoulders but her facial markings is just a line of dots under her left eye and an Egyptian style of makeup.
Hair: Tai's hair is a dark bluish-purple (kinda streaky in places). She keeps her's in braided dreads and will often tie her hair back with her own dreads if they start getting in the way. [x]
Details: She is more 'rougher' of the trolls, preferring to stick with the wilderness and animals rather than society in general.
Expression: Tai is a little more stern and serious, quite the opposite of her mother. Malis does all in her power to embarrass or provoke a rise out of her daughter just to see a grin or a smile.
Clothing: Leathers and natural clothing is preferred.She has a belt with many of her trinkets and voodoo items tied to them. If she does wear pants (as opposed to skirts) they are short, just under the knee. Just think druid and have fun with it ^-^~

Nekali

Name: Nekali Vitterfolk
Relation: Malis' baby sister
Species: Zandalari Troll
Gender: Female
Height: 8'4
Body type: Hourglass curves with slightly smaller boobs. (Think Betty Page but taller)
Skin: Troll blue with a slight green tinge to it. Nekali has few tattoos but non on her face as she isn't old enough. The few she has, however, are much like Malis' (swirly and 'wind/water' inspired)
Hair: Nekali has a mohawk in green-tipped blue with braids hanging down over her shoulders. She usually has a bone or skull tied tot he tips of her braids for decoration.
Details: Often followed by a little blue spotted frog, it is said he was once a troll two pressed her for affections which she didn't return. Nekali's tusks are on the larger side like her big sisters.
Expression: 'Kali is gregarious like her big sister and enjoys meeting others. She is a little more serious than Malis but is always warm and friendly.
Clothing: Shaman stuff! I -love- the different shaman robes available as well as the drops from ZG/ZA. If you'd prefer to do her in more simpler stuff I'd like it to look like her ceremonial robes. If you pick her armor you can do a variant of the Skyshatter offset or the new T13 (not the T13 shoulders though)

Demara

Name: Demara Shadowtusk
Relation: Sister of Louku and Rokhan
Species: Shatterspear Troll
Gender: Female
Height: 7'11
Body type: She is stacked, and curvy, and a fine example of wide childbearing hips.
Skin: Darker blue than her sister (slightly darker than Malis)
Hair: Violet/pink mowhawk with thick braids hanging over her shoulders.
Details: Two tattoos over her eyes in a very dark purple (think midnight-ish) The one over the right eye is a stripe that goes from her hairline to the eye, the other runs from her eye down and across her cheek. (It almost looks like a broken stripe diagonally across her face.)
Expression: Something light-hearted or flirty.
Personality: Playful and gregarious, Demara is always happy to meet people. She will flirt with any trolls she meets, especially the males though she is not against flirting with the females also. She is a little more reserved around the other races and abhors the alliance as they were the ones to invade her village.

The Extra Cast (Belf Edition)

Idris

Name: Idrissa Marnal Oakdaene
Relation: Childhood friend of Varicella
Species: Sin'dorei
Gender: Female
Height: 5'8
Body type: Idris is not as skinny as the model suggests. She has muscle to her form, lithe but defined. Her body type is more of an 'A' or pear frame than hourglass or twig-skinny. She does have semi-broad shoulders though...
Skin: Copper/peach, sunkissed with a light peppering of freckles.
Hair: If loose, it reaches to her mid back and has a slight curl to it and the colour is a golden brown. Idris often piles atop her head to keep it out of the way though she often has a few tendrils loose.
Details: You can go towards the belf version or towards Idris from Doctor Who but in Azeroth. She even has a blue draenai version of her! [x]
Expression: A little wild would be just fine. To get an idea of her spacy-ness, check out Idris/Sexy from the Doctor Who episode 'The Doctor's Wife'.
Personality: Idris has a slightly 'mad' personality. She sometimes goes from one extreme to another. But will catch herself after a moment. The world is completely new to her every morning which makes her quite an excitable woman. She likes to experience things. Touching, seeing, hearing, even tasting are all new and wondrous things for her. She doesn't know what personal space is. She also speaks before thinking she shouldn't say something. Mainly because talking is so much fun for her.
Clothing: Idris is most often found in her paladin gear, Tier 8 from Ulrduar. (The white set) But with the Cata PvP shoulders (one wing'ed angel)

History: Idris came to Azeroth with her companion Muldwych as he was needed. (They are in the guise of the Sin'dorei in the manner of 'Family of Blood and Human Nature') However, in the thick of the moment, they lost touch and so Idris decided to lay low until she found him again. She mostly spends her time with lucidity but every now and again she 'forgets herself' and the visions come back to her. The few who have become close friends presume she has been working with the Bronze Dragonflight and she does little to dissuade that fact. She takes to her role of healer well (nano-tech maybe?) and has made a note to help everyone she meets in some way though she has no idea why she is really good at reading people.
Note: This is more tongue-in-cheek than anything and mostly just for fun. I took the idea of what the TARDIS is and who Idris turned out to be during her time as human and embellished upon it, changing certain aspects of Timelord Lore into an Azerothian approximation.

Varica

Name: Varicella Shadowsun, Former Lieutenant of the Sunreaver

Body type: Slight but a little thick around the middle. She once was a solder but time has show her more sedentary lifestyle now.
Skin: Mid-tone skin with a few small scars on her arms, barely noticeable. Her runic tattoos are very few and mostly hidden from sight. If she casts a rather involved spell, however, they will glow an eery pale green.
Hair: White hair that is styled back to keep it out of the way.
Details: Varica is often mistaken for a felblood elf because of the amount of work she has done in the mana-forges, at least that is what she says... [x] She has the small black wings and horns but never got as far immersed as the others and so has normal skin colour and the few runic tattoos she has are barely visible unless she is very stressed.
Expression: A more stern or serious expression. She has seen many things in her time and it shows.
Clothing: I would like to see her in purples, coppers and whites. The final design is up to your choice.

Note: While I'd love art to show the fel-blood changes within her, when RPing in Azeroth she does all she can to hide the features that prove her high rankings within the Sunreaver she once held. An amulet that she consistently wears provides the illusion of seeming like a regular Sin'dorei yet people with high sensitivity to such things can usually catch a tickle in the back of their mind.

F.A.Q.s

What kind of things are you looking for? Mostly, to get the characters correctly. There is a lot of information about each, and I am always open to chat about my characters. Drawing Rynn in a 'Pinky Pie'-like expression would be very jarring and wouldn't fit her personality, just like drawing Malis as meek or shy would be just as odd. (Well that is unless you did a mini-comic where they switch bodies... which at that point would be hilarious!)

How many times can I enter? As many times as you wish! There is even a small chance to win multiple prizes! Obviously, quality over quantity however but I do enjoy sketches just as much as finished works.

Why so many letters? o_O I used to be a packrat and I would donate every month for three. Over time I have used them to either buy art or my various pets.

Why no Alliance? While I do have Alliance characters, I had to pare it down and even then managed to come up with 10 characters! If you especially want to draw Colleen, Sarynae, Azkarel, Crystaea, Peikko or Spriggin then sent me a note and I'll send you their information.
