Hello~!! Welcome to my art contest ^^ I would call it a mini contest reallly.





My contest is simple, just draw my original character.


arrow To submit entry :
1. read and follow the rules below.
2. draw the character in any medium you like. Can be either color or b&w.
background included or not is your choice. There're no strict rules here.
2. PM me, or post the link to your picture here.

1st place >> 70K
next three places >> 10K each

extra prize! If I like your entry enough, I will draw you a picture of your request in return heart

Bonus Prizes !! : I will give out bonus prizes for entries I like but did not get the prizes I mentioned above.

Name : Rafear
Race: He is a human (with partailly wizard blood)

Age: ~ 17 yr

Physical description :
hair >> he has a medium length black hair, a little messy espeacially the front part.
eyes >> green
about 5 10" tall
He has a pale face with a bit pointy, sharp eyes.
He likes to dress in dark color, with long pants and boots and brown leather belt. one of his favorite top is a turtle neck like black top. you can dress him up in other ways that does not contradict his character. you might also add a cloak (simple one, not fancy) and a hood if you wish. His dress would be medieval-like. Please, no modern feel to it.

Overall description :
He is quite reserved. He doesn't trust anyone easily. He usually has distant look on his face. If he does come to trust someone or befriended someone (rarely event), he will take their friendship seriously and trust them whole-heartedly. He lives up on a rock mountain far away from towns. He loves nature and animals and likes to travel a lot.
Even though he is viewed as dangerous or strange by many people, he is quite a straight forward and honest type.

Story Scenario :
fantasy story leaning towards medieval european feel. Rafear practiced his wizardry up on the mountain by himself with books left to him from his father. Until one day he found a guy lost in a forest while he was travelling. That's how the story started. biggrin

References : (you don't need to look at these if you don't want to. You can draw from my descriptions. I put them here in case someone wants to look at them.)

Criteria for judging :
What I look for the most is how you interpreted the character from my description. He does not need to look like my drawing. That's why you don't need to look at the references to be able to draw him.
Portraying his personality/character either in expression, scence, color scheme, etc in the drawing is the most important element in the work.

ahh 3nodding I'm glad you're interested. Don't worry. I'm not planning on taking back my prizes.
But I was about to change the deadline since I'm gonna prepare some reference pictures for the character. Would that be fine with you?
