• Epitaph

There once was a great empire called Rome, where Augustus once sat on the throne. Rulers

fought and wouldn’t sleep, until the empire was at its peak. They conquered Europe, even Gaul,

until the greatest empire had its fall, even then no one could remember the republic at all.

Engineers invented concrete, when the empire could make ends meet. Although their

architecture was great, Roman art no one could hate. Strong borders were easily found, the

arches happened to be round. Their large borders betrayed them too soon, non-loyal soldiers

fought under Rome’s moon. Tax collectors became greedy, while citizens grew needy. Attila

finished off what Rome had become, and there was no doubt that the Eastern Empire was done.
