• Sunset At The beach

Have you ever watched seagulls fly across the sky at sunset?
High enough to catch the rays of the sun,
The bottoms of their wings glowing red,
    Rustling in your ears.
    They make you feel flushed
    With a will
    To stay free.

Have you ever heard the waves crash against the shore?
At night when the world is still,
    Their power, their thunder,
    Their command of the Earth
    They make you feel humble
    And weak
    And small.

Have you ever seen the moon mirrored by the sea?
A looking glass of water, of light, of dreams,
    it shimmers, reflects,
    And washes your mind
    It makes you feel lonely
    But not
    Alone.
