• The Crying Angel

Her love is gone no one cares, the cries no one hears
Her life it seems a world of nightmares.
Deep in the night the moon moves gently behind the dark clouds and fades away.
She comes to a stop standing in the rain.
Her eyes shut close as the raindrops hit her face of the torn-apart memories
Falling inside her, of her long lost love.

She looks into the reflection in the lake created by the rain,
This trembling water falling not the rain but her eyes weeping
Of seeing her beloved in this reflection.

Oh how she whispers of a dream she had
“You came into my room you took me in your arms the love that I feel,
When you hold me near save’n warm,
How I wish for this night-time to last for a life time” she whispers softy

“I woke I cried again for you were gone,
I still can dream but its only nightmares now.”

This lonely soul and heart is wandering in the darkness
    “As I The Crying Angel
Like a rose I’m slowly withering without you my love.”
