• "That?" Persephone questioned. "What 'that' are you guys talking about?" She needed to know this. Pain tried to explain....."Well, Panic's trying to tell you how she got here, along with me. But, that's a pretty long story, and I'm sure you don't want to--" He was cut off by Persephone who said eagerly, "Let me hear it~! How did you guys wind up here anyway?"

"Well--" Pain began; he was once again cut off by Panic. "Well, to start off, m-my name isn't Panic. Master Hades just gave that name 'cause people used run away from me whenever I came near them. My r-r-real name is.....Aw, you guys are gonna think it's ugly or dumb or somethin'....." She said, blushing a bit. "No way! I promise, we won't laugh at your birthname. Honest!" Hades said in a fatherly tone. "Well, m-m-my name is.....Kallenthiyas. But back when I was alive, my momma used to call me Kal or Kallie." The blush had spread and grew deeper on her face.

"That's a cute nickname, a-and a beautiful name for a girl like you, Pan-- erm, I mean, Kallenthiyas. Why'd you change it?" Pain pondered. Trying to change the subject, Hades asked boldly, although he already knew, "How did you end up here?"

Kallenthiyas responded timidly: "Well, that's a bit of a long story too... I was born by a port in Athens. My mother wove; My father was a fisherman. He taught me how to swim; I beat almost all of the boys. One day, while there was a storm building up, some knuckleheaded guy challenged me to swim to the next port and back. I nearly won; I ended up getting tossed around by the water and I couldn't come up for air. So, I was born by the water and I died, well, in the water. Well, that stunk for me, don't you think? Anyway, when I was being judged, Master Hades didn't know to put me, not even in Asphodel! So, he asked me if I could be his 'daughter' and I said yes. So....here I am." She finished, plopping to the ground.

"Well, I sorta died by the sea too.....and my real name is.....Demitrius." Demitrius confessed. "My father was a fisherman too. He absolutely adored what he did. Why, it was as if he loved fishing more than he loved me. So, I snuck onto his boat; too bad it was in the middle of a storm! The waves threw us overboard and, well, we died. When we got to Master Hades, he read what my dad did; he was sent to Tartarus for neglecting me all of my life. But, when he got to me, he asked me if I could be his 'son' and I accepted, and here I am!" He concluded.

Persephone listened with keen ears. Wow......one died by dare, while the other died by neglect. Maybe I should.....nah. I'll tell 'em later...... She decided.
