• “That was a stupid trip, not one of them was worth saving.” Jake had said.
“ I don’t like to say this, but that group is just another bunch of kids that can’t take care of themselves.” Burrow quietly whispered. They were getting close to the higher up tents. They entered the first of the brightly colored tents.
“ I am guessing the mission was a success.” May said, not looking up from papers she was reading.
“ Yes, it was.” Jake said sarcastically.
“ What is it this time?” May said this time looking up. “ Did one of them try to hug you?” Burrow laughed loudly.
“ No, they are useless. They couldn’t take care of themselves, let alone fight. We found them in one large ball in the dark. It would have been better if we saved rocks.” Jake said defensively.
“So we should have left them there?” May asked studying Jake. “Y-”
“Hello, May.” Isabella said walking in the tent. She looked at us like she was trying to remember our names, but only came out blank.
    “ Hello, Isabella.”
    “Hello Isabella.”
“ You were saying?” May said starring at Jake.
“ No, of course we are supposed to save them.” Jake said.
    “ I’m Sure.” May exhaled.
“ Am I interrupting something?” Isabella asked.
“ No, just two idiots trying to giving a report. What do you need?”
“ The Queen wants to know what you have learned so far. She want’s to see you .”
“ Sorry idiots, I have to go.” May said grabbing a large amount of papers in her arms. The two boys looked at each other, they felt angry but like they escaped death too. Even though Isabella is only twelve, you fear her. You don’t fear what she could do, but her “mother”, The Queen. They could never speak of leaving the weak around Isabella, that is suicide. I think she would actually try to kill you herself.
“ You really got to learn when to shut up.” Burrow said to Jake, looking at the two girls leaving.
    “Yah, I know.” Jake replied.

“Stand in a line or I wont assign you to a group, and you can just die.” The girl said standing with her arms across her chest. These people here just keep getting nicer and nicer. “ You, and you.” she said pointing to two kids, “go with him.” She said pointing to a tall strong looking boy. He had a disappointed look In his face, like he wanted someone else.
“ Lets go.” He said to the girl and boy. He put his hands their shoulders like they would get lost if he didn’t. I watched them till they disappeared into a tent.
“You! You! Degenerate, wake up!” the girl said snapping her fingers at me. I twitched my head toward her.
    “Me?”
“Yes you, do you want a family or not?” She screamed annoyed.
    “A family?”
“Yes! What are you, some special form of stupid? I feel sorry for you.” She said looking at a tall red haired girl. “ Go with her. Do you understand?” She said the last part slowly just to make fun of me.
    “Yah, I do.”
“Lets go runt.” The red haired girl said. The girl looked at me like she was looking at some rare form of animal. She stared at me for a moment, and I could see she judged me as weak. She didn’t guide me or generally care if I was behind her or not. She didn’t even look back. I think she was hoping I would get lost so she could try to get someone else. I had to chase her past large groups of kids talking. By the time we got to a old looking tent we were both panting. “ This…is…the new kid.” She said pointing to me. A strong boy with shaggy black hair just stared at me, and a tiny long brown haired girl ran up to me and hugged me.
“Hello! I’m Pear.” She said hugging my waist.
“ I … am… Cindy.” The red haired girl added. The boy stared at me for a while then finally said,
“It’s official. We are the weakest group of them all.” He laid back onto a blanket and threw his hands up in the air.
“Well, on the bright side he can run fast.” Cindy said.
“ What is your name?” Pear asked me.
    “ Jay.”
    “Like the bird?” Pear asked.
“No, like the fruit. Of course like the bird.” The boy said.
“Be quiet Sam.” Pear screamed in a high pitch voice. So his name was Sam. I could tell me and my “family” would get along great. I understand I don’t look very strong, okay I’m not strong. However I am smart, so they will see they will need me.
