• "Reina, wait up!" Sakura called after her friend. "I can't, Sakura. I have to help my mom with Karin. I can't play after school anymore. Go play with your flowers." That ice cold look and those words were like a slap in the face.
Reina walked down the path to her house. Tears invaded Sakura's eyes. She walked down the lonely path to her house. She knew nobody was home. She already knew her mother was at the Tavern "working".
She walked through the acres and acres of flowers her mother owned. Her ancestors had been planting these flowers long before the war. 'The war...' she thought. Her father had died in this war. It had all started when she was five. The Prince had commited suicide. The king died shortly after from poison.
The Prince had been the only heir to the thrown. Since then, countries have been fighting to control Serithian land. There was one problem. No one could prove there was blood and a suicide note, but no body. Sakura opened the door to her house. She sat down and wondered what to do. Her wooden house stood firm in the heavy wind because it was weighed down by flowers.

Sakura heard a knock at the door. "Hmmm...Coming!" she said sleepily. She got up and walked up to the door. Since she was old enough to stay home by herself she answered the door. "Hello?" she peered outside the house.
"Hello, Usagi-chan," said the boy. He wasn't much older than her, a little taller. He was skinny and had crystal blue eyes. "You've sure grown a lot." he laughed. "Is it your birthday today?" In fact it was.
Her birthday had been unnoticed by her mom and even her friend. Tears came to her eyes. It was her 15th birthday. She knew the legend about the vampire(I'll tell you right now he isn't a vampire. I'm not one of those vampire freaks though I do love Twilight) but it wasn't supposed to be true. That stor was only supposed to be to frighten little girls to stay in bed at night. 'It isn't true she thought.

The boy walked into the room. "Anybody home?" he shouted. It echoed through the house like a siren. Of course, nobody answered. "Guess not. Then we can do this quickly,"he said. His teeth sharpened as he walked towards her.
He had an evil smile on his face like he was going to eat her. "I've missed your blood for 10 years." One minute he was across the room, the next he had her in his arms. "I've waited so long," he said licking her throat. It tickled so much Sakura giggled. She moved her brown hair in the way on purpose.
"Quit," she said still giggling. "I never learned your first name," he said. His crystal blue eyes were making her lose herself. She tried shoving him away. She knew he wasn't going anywhere. She finally had no choice, "Flower Dancing!" she said.
He let go just before she finished the spell. "So you Are a witchling." He was laughing again. "Who's been teaching you?Surely not your mother...I know you have the spell book!"
