This is for a group entry, beauty on a budget. We were to create an avatar worth about 50k or under. Since MCs, CIs, CS items do not have gold value, their value was considered to be zero. But we were only allowed to use two. Which is what what I did. I decided to do a cream and white theme. Hair and eyes are not included in the price.My outfit is worth 11, 580 because of Gaia's lack of creams matching in the gold shops.

- That is why they stated that their could only be a max of 2 of these kinds of items, and to keep it reasonable. Not to go and get your Angelic Halo and dump it on your avi.

- Lil Riot, technically, GCS items do not have a gold value. The gold value for them changes depending on the demand and quantity of the item. Their "gold value" depends on the users. One day, an item can be worth over 2omil, and the next day 1.5mil.

- BTW, i created the damn concept. i allowed for a rule saying that items WITHOUT a STORE PRICE VALUE could be used, so long as it's kept to a minimum. The idea was to exercise caution with spending and creating a limit.

the fact of the matter is that, for the most part, MCs do NOT have a "Store Price" value in gold like Gold Shop items do. : / - Report As Spam

No because a user could go to the gold shop and buy them for the correct price, so you wouldn't use the market list price for that item. Mc's and other items can only be bought on the market so their values can only be determined by that but when building an avatar you have to take it or leave that price
I know you didn't pile them on but if I was a newbie or trying to create a low cost avi I still have to include those in my cost, that is what I am shooting at smile - Report As Spam

- It's not like we piled them on. That's why there was a limit to the use of such items. They can't be included because they are not from the gold shop. If we went from Marketplace place value some cheap items are listed on there for millions gold, so wouldn't that defeat the purpose as well if we were to use marketplace value?

I think it kind of defeats the purpose of creating cheap affordable avatars anyone can make. After looking at the groups submission that is the feel I am getting. At least that is what a few had said.
Which I liked that, but if you use MC's and others they should be included because if someone wanted to make an avatar they would have to include that in their costs.
Just my thought on that, but like I said I liked the idea of showing people that they can start off small and it still look nice - Report As Spam
