Where do I begin, me lovelies? I mean, how does one capture the essence of oneself, while threading the needle between the extremes arrogance and self-deprecation?

Labels have never been my preference. I despise them, like many folk do. I cannot be affiliated with any particular subculture, but rather sample bits and pieces from several different ones. Then again, that's hardly a pioneer concept.

I enjoy philosophy, and poetry. I'm an artist, and also a scientist. I deal in the abstract as if it was the concrete, for the abstract are just things we have yet to solidify in our understanding of the universe.

Unabashedly, I believe in God. I do not apologize for this. I will not violate anyone's freedom to believe whatever they wish, however. My ways are mine, and yours are yours. If you have questions about mine, please ask, as I am happy to share God's Word. My beliefs are not typical of standard denominations, however. I am an independent Christian, and often disagree with the institutionalized beliefs of the current churches.

As far as politics go, I am a Libertarian. I do not support either of the major American parties, as I believe them both to be corrupt and compromised. As a Libertarian, I can be described as socially liberal and economically conservative.

I consider myself intelligent, as do many others. However, intelligence is relative. I usually learn quickly, and comprehend most things I am taught. I can be forgetful, but I try to compensate for this. I'm often called an "eccentric genius". I tend to be compassionate, and will help even a complete stranger. I'm a also military man at heart, and often approach things with tactics and strategy, treating most situations much like a wargame. However, due to an injury while I was in United States Marine Corps recruit training, my military career was cut tragically short, and I was given a medical discharge.

I love computers, and technology in general. I'm also a huge sci-fi fan, and I read a fair amount of manga. I'm not an obsessed otaku, but I'm involved in anime culture.

Which is why it's a good thing I take in to account that you can never be SURE of anyone you haven't even met. I wouldn't solely deduce something of someone simply because of an about me. Just shed light on some things for me. BUT, I don't want to get a masters... so psych won't be my career. The irony of it is I was going to go to school to be a writer/english major. I have amazing grammar and spelling for someone who is mildly dyslexic. SO THERE! lol No but really, I just wanted to try and make a last ditch effort to NOT have any bad notes with strangers on Gaia. I don't enjoy confrontation as much as I get into it. I just actively choose to NOT bite my tongue 80% of the time.

After reading your about me... it all makes sense.

1. I'm sorry you try so hard to sound perfect. It really must be exhausting.
2. Thank you for your time you serve.
inb4: I'm not trying to start something with you. I legitimately cannot contain myself. I'm a psych junky, and I usually can't NOT try to get inside of someone's head and figure out why they do or say the things they do and HOW they say them. And after reading your about me.. I got a lot of answers. THAT is all.
