Lucky! We have few cons over here, but the biggest one is in London and it's getting more and more boring (and too commercialized) than fun. DX

I might pop over to France for expos in the summer...

Me too. When you're in convention, it's like everyone is your best friend XD;;; I usually like to volunteer as a steward. That way even if my friends don't have time to come with me, I can always make new friends when I'm stewarding 8D. It's a lot of fun getting to know people and find out what shows they like etc.
It's a shame but most of my friends tend to be either busy or aboard at expo time... T^T we haven't been able to get together for 2 years.

Vocaloid cosplay totally rocks!! >3< I like Len, thou I know that I'd look like a dork as one haha 8D (too old).

and that dress is awesome. your mom is seriously talented.
are the conventions in US good? i've been to a few time at one in London but they're getting worse every year =A=;;;
you guys seemed to be having a lot of fun!

a few of my friends are planning if we should cosplay kuroshitsuji characters XD;;; thou i know we probably won't make it happen since all of us suck at sewing.

lol, i'm not in a band, i just go get other bands 8D. i had to borrow a frilly jacket from a friend when we went to see Avington Boys School... i still haven't returned it to her haha.

your mom is awesome!! mine wouldn't bother do that for me. she did buy me a frilly dress when i was very young thou haha.

lucky you! i don't have any dress that's goth loli in my wardrob (just a couple of frilly black skirts), thou it would be very nice to have some 8'D when i go to a gig i usualy have to borrow stuff from my friends XP

i still remember back when i was sooo into all things Victorian. 8'D
it's the fashion!! getta love all that frills, corsets, top hats, and more frills... XuX

since i have big hips those Victorian dresses work magic on me haha. i had to wear something similar on school open day waaay back since our school had a long history.

speaking of corsets, i was watching an episode of CSI Las Vegas where a man who worn a corset was killed. i never knew that men worn corsets =A= man in corset

crazy things Victorian do haha XD;;;

but then Victorians did give us Sherlock Holmes! heart

i know right? that just reminded me of a new last year where a taxi driver druged 11 women and molested them...
this might sound silly, but to me driving in a private vehicle is a personal experience, since it's almost like you've given them the licence to carry your life in a metal box at very high speed. i wouldn't want someone i hardly know this kind of power over my life haha. besides, cab fares are astronomical in the UK... i wouldn't be able to afford one often lol XD

oh i'd definitly cosplay on a long distance train!!! it'd be so cool to travel with a couple of friends all dressed up in 1920s style. 8D i'd dressed like a flapper and we'd stage a mock train robbery, or a mock train muder mystery!! *u*

i don't like taxis neither...
back when i studied in London i had to take the train everyday lol XD;;;
i really want to go on one of those reallllly long train rides. like the Orient Express =3=
kind of influenced by old movies, lovers' depart from train stations, romance on trains, murder on trains, ghost on trains etc. 8D

XD! i don't drive, thou i had a provision licence for yearrrrrrs. i use bus and tube regularly. i absolutly love travelling on trains, thou i hate hate buses TAT;;; they are dirty, rattling, dangerous animals...

thou if i ever become importance enough and get a personal driver... 8D i'd like that a lot haha.

it's awesome that US has this many states!! it is a big country. what i don't understand is why us Brits feel that we deserve 646 constituencies... ¬_¬ it makes elections a pain haha.
