I almost got hacked the same way as you (didn't think it was this big of a problem). My friend message me on Meebo asking "want free item" exact like you and didn't even say hi or anything. So, I got suspicious and went to her profile (her avatar was nude, but username wasn't changed like you). I got suspicious that she been hacked, so I ask her on Facebook. Few days later, the person said the same thing but send me a link too. I didn't click on it though and pretty much just ignored him/her. Well, today I finally got a reply from my friend/ She did get hacked, but she wasn't sure how though. Hackers these days, remind me when they try to steal people's account through pms 0.o by pretending to be mods. Anyway, i just felt like posting a comment because the same thing almost happened to me. I do hope you get back your account though!

I know this might seem kind of sudden but I work for My Gaia magazine and we're currently doing a segment on hacking. I saw saw that you were hacked not long ago and was wondering if you would like to talk about it with us for our article. We have a lot of new users in our guild and safety against hacking is something that we would like to bring up for them ( would have PM'd but you're set to friends only )
