Welcome to my den. Sit awhile, knit a spell if you're so inclined, or just stay for the stories.

I'm a thirtyish theatrical technician who loves crafting, science fiction and fantasy. I haven't yet met a craft I don't like - from knitting to forge welding (really - I work at a 1780's historical re-enactment educational site during the summer and they let me forge weld!); and I have very few sci fi and fantasy themes I dislike as well. Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Star Trek, TMNT, Red Dwarf, LOTR and many others strike my fancy.
I'm a writer and a roleplayer, devoted to Changeling: the Dreaming as my favorite game, and a dedicated guild supporter on Gaia.

About the Avi:
Azure is a traveling goddess, taking many forms and personalities in order to learn about the world and to keep up with her creator's ADD avatar changing. She is frequently seen in the WG, causing mischief and merry. She is usually a bit strange, love to be chatty and is rarely, if ever, azure.

About the Username:
I am a chick. I have a gender neutral name in real life and my usual username online is a male character reference. So I am constantly referred to as 'him.' On Gaia I wanted a username that actually, y'know, read as a *girl.*
'My Azure Goddess' is an obscure X-men reference. It is Morph's pet name for Nocturne (Nightcrawler's daughter) in the series "Exiles." I'm a geek, love X-men, adore Nightcrawler and think that Nocturne is awfully spiffy. I changed the way it read for my own English-major correctness and viola! username!
Yes I have been told it sounds like a 13-year-old girl trying to sound cool. But I have by now built a character around it so I can't change it. Who else would I be?

I swear I'm not taking stuff too seriously on Gaia and also not trying to be cool anyway... It just my nature or something I can't explain.
I'm sorry that I started this. I'm just really wondering.

Your name and your sig strike me also. Still remember about being Trekkie as well as Bibbles and Cookie Boots cupcakes very well.

Also I wish I was born in the 70s so I can see the Original Trilogy of Star Wars on their premier as well as hunting the old Kenner toys.
