Your friend is for the most part correct.

The district's children attend a private school and they have a similar grading system. But those schools are also enlightened schools (really smart private school kids) so the district made a -dumby- version of theirs with slight differences and is using this year to test it.

Yes all PUBLIC schools in NEW HAMPSHIRE are doing this. And SOON all PRIVATE schools will be doing it to. sad

I suggest trying to stay after school to get extra help in the competencies your lacking in.
This grading system is terrible and causing many students to fail. Like I said you can have a 90 average, and still fail.
