I'm a guitarist. And a good one compared to some of those pussys who only play acoustic.
You are not considered a "musician" if you only know chords and don't know anything about music theory. More than likely, you're singing also sucks, you can't compose anything worth listening to because you have no idea how to correctly associate a melody and a harmony, and you just want to get laid. Get an electric, learn how to solo and study theory, and then learn how to apply it. THEN I will give you some respect.
I'm a hardass rockin electric guitarist all the way. So yeah, that does mean I got attitude if you piss me off.
I do plan on pursuing a career in music entertainment. So don't hate =P
