Yes. I'd probably order someone else to do it. Perhaps a cosplay company, but I'd have to be sure they were good.
We're opposites; I love puppet movies.
Yes, please? I would think it'd be easy to find Chii's ears too, but it wasn't when I looked. If I buy a pair the first day I could wear them the second day..
I know that a few people wear failed lolita, but I'm knowledgable about the style, and I have quite some pieces already. So that wouldn't be a problem. But since I already wear those clothes at parties and sometimes casually, I wouldn't get into the costume-mood.
I'm a perfectionist in general. <: If I'm going to do something and display it, it will be decent. Otherwise, I'll just let the idea float untill I'm able to do it well, or trash it.
I've thought of Griselda or Gwendolyn from Odin Sphere, but their outfits are also complicated. And Near from Death Note, but he doesn't suit me.. I'd only cosplay Near for photoshoots or small cosplay gatherings in my city. On the topic of Death Note, I want to make an SPK-group because I've never seen a group cosplaying them. With some yellow contacts, I'd easily pull off Hal Lidner. And I've thought of Chachamaru from Negima. You couldn't think of any suitable robot-characters, could you..? I love robotic girls.
PM is set to friends only, so I'll reply here for now;
Thank you for your input. :3
I'm not surprised by your reaction to Kira, a lot of people are creeped out by the characters of that movie. And thank you for that suggestion, I'll keep it in mind.
Chii is simple, yes, that's one thing I like about her. (Also considering I wear lolita regularly)
I'd just have to find good ear pieces; I haven't been able to..
But the cosplay is rather common, so I'd like to wear something that's a little bit less so. It would be easier to stand out that way, too.
I'm that perfectionist. ;;; If I'm going to cosplay, I want to do it well. I can accept that many people don't look exactly like their character, but my goal is to be better than them. I'm going for the fun, and an accurate costume seems like half of that fun.
Oh, I forgot to mention my body type; sorry. ;; I'm 170cm, so a bit tall for Chii. But otherwise the build is not a problem, unless I were to cosplay a very curvy character.
Yes, I'm going with the 2P-costume of Lili's.

I've thought about Alisa from Tekken too, although she doesn't suit me very well, but she's my favorite character. Too bad the wig must be very difficult. The entire outfit seems difficult to get right.
