x- Elci -x Report | 10/11/2010 6:42 am: Regarding Chosen question about the construction on this profile, Yagami and I haven't really been working on it lately. It was a good idea when we came up with it, but I think we'd like to get the RP running smoothly before spending our time with that particular project. There are so many things that we've started and have left unfinished. Ugh... I still need to get around to working on the Welcome Thread some more as well. So.. sorry that I don't have anything new to reveal yet Chosen. Our concentration is fully set to the RP.

Izz, Megumeru is the name of the song I believe. It's the intro song to Clannad.

Sorry it took so long for the reply, I only notice the comments when I actually log in as the mascot.

I originally designed the profile page under the assumption that most of you had wide screen computers, but Yagami informed me that this was not likely. And so I changed everything to fit a normal screen as well. Don't worry about the massive 'Under Construction' thing... Yagami and I have a surprise soon to come.

Also, I updated the music player again to include my new character's song and replace any songs that stopped working with working versions. I'm very excited about this character.

About

Hello everyone! I am the official Mascot of The Darkroot Chronicles guild. The Darkroot Chronicles is a Sonic-based RP centered around the peaceful town of Darkroot that has been recently torn from the map by a metallic army. This is an anthropomorphic (literally meaning: ascribing human form or attributes to a being or thing that is not human) RP and all of the characters resemble animals. This profile is mainly used to store all of the character profiles from the guild. Each character will have their picture shown (that you can click to view in full), some information on that character, as well as that character's theme song following it. Ethan's sure come a long way from being the shy little brother of soccer phenomanon, Jason. Ethan spent his days basking in his brother's shadow, but it wasn't something he loathed. He enjoyed staying out of the spotlight. All he needed was his best (and practiclly, only) friend, Miguel. And childhood friend turned girlfriend, Rose. Ethan never passed with flying colors in school, but yet again. Average was just fine for him. Sadly, things didn't last. The military's attack on Darkroot commenced without a single problem, and Ethan was separated from his friends and family during the attack. But knowing just how strong the army was, they probably didn't survive. We last see him escaping into Darkroot's forest when he comes upon and old echidna. Ethan hears nothing but this before passing out:

"It seems fate has brought a stranger to my lands. Perhaps it is time to pass my skills on to the next generation after all..."

Fifteen months later, Ethan has dawned a new name, Ronin. He's dedicated his life to tearing down the army for what they did. He never wanted much, they couldn't even let him keep the few things that made him happy. They were merciless, now he is too. So, with a brand new arsenal of foreign abilities taught to him by the echidna, Ronin is out to settle the score.

The ultimate victim of circumstance, Rob has spent his whole life trying to pick himself up from the last kick he was given. At a younger age. Rob watched his mother be shot right in front of him by a gang that broke into their own house over actions that his deceased father had commited. Spending over 2 years on the streets of his hometown ducking police, gangs, people in general. It seemed like his cycle would never break. But due to a freak chain of events about two years ago, He finally worked up the courage to face the desert winds outside of the city in hopes of finding a real home.

Fifteen months later, Robert has returned home from the ruins of Darkroot, only to find that his hometown of Rapture is now suffering the same fate476. He didn't want to be here. Rob had lived off of caring for nobody but himself and those he owes. Unfortunatly, he owed Rapture's alleyways a favor for being his sanctuary years ago. Little does Rob know that the army itself is leading these attacks. He just thinks it's a bunch of terrorrists. Soon though, he'l learn just what he's getting himself into.

Robert has a natural talent for hating any mobian that crosses his path. All he truly has to comfort him is his sphere. A genius ball of mettalic mesh and wiring. Rob had always been a technological prodigy with no chance to prove himself, let alone exercise this magnificent capability of his. Scarred by his past time and time again makes it hard to see that he is a good person underneath. Little room for hope is left. Yet somehow with each coming day, the small possibility that it isn't to late to change gives Robert the will to wake up and give this day a chance.

A living legend, Rook has made quite a name for himself over the years. Being known as the do-gooder among the town when he was a child. Eventually. Rook got the sense to charge people for his deeds. He started doing jobs all over the city to support the small house he and his mother lived in. Things really took off for him when he was sixteen. Rook took it upon himself to hunt down a runaway convict that the police were after. He didn't think he was getting into anything that serious. Besides, the man had quite a bounty. One day, Rook had a freak encounter with the convict. Thanks to Rook's keen sense of combat, he made it out alive. If only the runaway was that lucky. There was blood on Rook's hands now. There was no way he could return home. Rook was left with no choice but to leave his home with nothing but his clothes and bow, and bounty hunting seemed like the perfect occupation.

Fast forward 6 years. Rook's been through hell and back. He had gotten a lot of heat in Megaopolis from the local police, it was time to change the place of operations. Rook was just entering Darkroot while it was under attack. Rook dove into the mess to see just what was happening. It didn't take long for him to recognize the military inside of the attack. Though something was definitly peculiar about it all. The army was the one attacking, attacking a helpless city. Rook saw this as a paycheck. The army is high-paying. They'd ask for his assistance if they knew that the 'Grim Grinning Killer' was open for business. Though he has different motives inside the ranks.

Fifteen months later, present day. Rook has stolen the identity of Private John Able. 'John' has befriended some members of the higher ranks, giving him a chance to punch a hole in their Rapture outpost. All Rook wants is to hurt the army, what they were doing wasn't right. But who could pay better? Rook is ready to jump from side to side on an obvious war that will surely ensue. With war, comes desperation, and a desperate person will pay almost anything for peace of mind.
