About
Been way too long since I updated this. Well, guess it's time for an overhaul.I joined way back in 2009. Can't believe it's been nearly 8 years. Was really active until around 2012, then just kind of stuck to lurking. I've grown up a bit since then, but still enjoy the same things. Video games, anime, design, the works. Figured now was a good time to come back, and see what's been going on. I occasionally set up a cosplay or two on here, but nothing too fancy I suppose.
Over the years, I went from an awkward, sarcastic if not slightly naive high school kid to a grown 20-something with a college degree in graphic design and a full-time job designing supermarket circulars. Honestly, if you had told me five years ago I'd be where I am today, I'd probably laugh at you and brush you off like you weren't being serious. But I'm happy with where my life has taken me. I've got a good job, a geeky and wonderful boyfriend, and a loving family. That's really all I could ask for at this point.

I've been considering openin' art commissions to finance my records n dolls, just been a bit hesitant to start. I've done one here an' there before, but the idea of actually having to curate an ongoing public presence...yeep. eek Maybe with Inktober being right around the corner...post a few things to get into the swing of it, it'll be easier to commit. D'you do Inktober?
Holdin' up is still something to be proud of--it's been a rough few years. Hopefully you're able to find something better suited to you soon--do you have any leads/ideas of what you're interested in?
And yeah, it is, ain't it! I pop on with occasional regularity, mostly just to see what's up and change up my avatar. Still keepin' on with the vampire theme. Wonder if we might see a few returnees/new folks now that everything ~*~*Y2K*~*~ is relevant again?
