gaia_angelleft Long ago, after the end of the great rebellion, a star fell from the heavens, and landed in what would become Europa. A baby, crying while wrapped in a black, Nebulaic cloth, was seen. His skin was pale, yet his hair was as black as a raven's feathers, and his eyes more golden than the purest amount of the metal itself. After 13 billion years, protected by the cloth against time and space, a young couple had founded him in the forest. Having no children of their own, they took him in as their own in the place of Firenze, and for a time, life was good for the little infant. Until he grew up into a young boy, and was treated like a lepar by the neighborhood kids due to his hair and eyes. He barely went outside, because we was maltreated, being thrown rocks and getting bruised, which mysteriously vanish as they appear. about 15 human years old, the couple's house was broken into by brigands, and the boy was the first one to see them as they had raped his adoptive mother and decapitated his adoptive father as they grinned to their heart's content. In a sudden fit of rage, his darker nature had revealed itself, turning into a monstrous black dragon as he killed and devoured the thieves. But it wasn't enough it seemed, as he went on a rampage throughout the whole town, killing and butchering and incinerating anyone who dared got in his path. Finally, the called had come in for the Vatican to take action, and so they bound the flying beast and sealed him to a sacred metal slab to which his power was suppressed and he returned to his normal, human form. Locking him within the deepest chamber in the Vatican's catacombs, he was chained up to the slab, his body atrophied. His life was altered forever, never knowing the feelings of love and hate until one fateful day. A young nun was assigned to care for the boy under Vatican orders, as they deemed him both a gift and a curse of god. Seeing her kind nature and beauty, he fell in love with her. He learned of the outside and all the basics of human society, as well as mastering all known languages over a short period of time. is intelligence and strength grew beyond human means, as his love for the woman grew. However, it was all in vain, as it turned out she was already in love with a priest which was also left in charge of overseeing the tombs. One night, he had awoken to strange sounds, as he saw on the other side of the catacombs both his crush and the riest make love on top of the tombs. Having his heart broken by such an audacious site, his wrath caused the slab to break and shatter, as he changed into the dragon form once more, with more killing intent than before. He set the forbidden lovers ablaze, bursting free of the tombs as he broke out from under the courtyard of the Vatican building. Firing a super charged flame, he destroyed the building, and anyone inside before he flew off into the darkness, lost forever in human history. He had deemed humanity a lost cause for redemption and deemed every one who is human or half-human a sinner, and would either kill them or avoid communication. A thousand years have past, as he continued to roam this Earth, protecting its wildlife and forests, while living amongst human beings. His true name was lost to history, though he now goes by the name of Dante Alighieri, and his hatred to humanity for its flaws and sins is never wavering... gaia_nitemareright
