To Return

Long ago, I was told that my spirit totem is a wolf. When I die, I shall return to Mother Earth in the form of a wolf and be granted the wilderness to run about.

Stuck in an area where there is no love and respect for wilderness, the wolf inside me yearns to return home. To paradise- Yellowstone.

I howl for the valleys, the rivers, the lakes, mountains, hills, forests, and streams. I howl for the wild life.

To return home is all I ask.

Land of mountains, I howl for you. Let me roam free and bask in your beauty. Fill me with your knowledge and free me.
