Drawbacks: She needs both sunlight or moonlight and twice the water of a normal human to survive. She also can only use most of her powers when wounded. To heal others, they must ingest her blood. She cannot bring anyone back to life.

Appearance: Usually wears a leather jacket and skirt with shorts underneath as well as black leather boots and high socks. She usually carries nothing more than a laptop bag full of ammunition and a sniper rifle with a scope on her back. Has a small bag of holding at her waist.
Background: Umaki was born into the slums of Shanghai to a Japanese mother and Chinese Father. She soon realized her strange powers of her blood turning to petals whenever she was injured and her wounds healing quickly. She also had a voice that sometimes talked to her in her head called ‘Mother’. Umaki thought nothing of it until one day when she was seven she was caught in an explosion and nearly killed. Though she was fine after healing quickly, her parents were concerned and took her to a doctor for the first time. There, the doctor examined her and gasped, quickly hurrying out of the room and returning a half hour later. He whispered something to her mother, who began to cry, and then told her that she couldn’t stay here any more. When she asked what that meant, they told her she was connected to a force they didn’t want to deal with, a demigod of sorts, which was how she got her power. She said, “Oh, you mean Mother?” which frightened the doctor even more. They took her to the border, saying they couldn’t afford to kill her for fear of this ‘Mother’ who might retaliate. Her parents didn’t resist, themselves being scared of Umaki. She didn’t blame them. After that, Umaki never saw her parents again. She was exiled from China, never to see her home city again. At first, she didn’t hate the country for kicking her out, but after witnessing how the refugees out here lived, she decided never to forgive those in power for abandoning them as such. A woman named Cal took her under her wing, teaching her how to fight and training Umaki at her specialties. Cal took her raiding with her gang, but one day the truck they raided blew up. Everyone but Umaki died. After that, she never joined another gang for more than one job. She survives by hunting crows and other fowl and getting close to the border and raiding caravans with any gang who hires her for her shooting skills. She also occasionally leaves the area with gangs or on her own to travel around to other cities. She hasn’t been back in China yet, but plans to return someday.
