All About The Crazy One
Hello! My name is of no importance; you can call me what you like, so long as it's not vulgar. My username is taken from the fact that I live in Texas, I am female, and I am a pretty good shot when it comes to prone rifle and the 0.22 pistol. I'm a college student, and I was planning on getting an Associate's in EMS before moving on to a real university and getting a Masters in something awesome, but the way they were teaching the course where I went ticked me off, so I dropped there and am planning on getting my EMT training completed somewhere else. I was only about two weeks from the final when I dropped, so I'm still pretty knowledgeable. I'm just knowledgeable and slightly irritated at the system. Heheh, what's new?
I am known among my friends and family as a wild card, cynical yet cheerful, logical yet silly, immature but intelligent. I deliberately mismatch my socks and earrings, and I intend to study psychology after I finish my training. I am an Orthodox Jew, also studying what is known as Jediism (DON'T LAUGH AT ME, YOU STAR WARS HATERS!). It's more of a philosophy, really.
I may sound like a Star Wars nut, but I'm really more into Star Trek and Firefly with Lord of the Rings being my night-time secret vice. True facts! I was dragged into LOTR fandom against my will, kicking and screaming, but here of late I've kind of adapted and realized that I actually sort of like the story. I even started my own LOTR roleplay guild, although I'll deny everything to the psychoanalyst. As for you die-hards, I have indeed both read the books and watched the movies, although I avoid the cartoon version like the plague.

As for music... I like any old kind of music, really. KPop, JPop, CPop, Country, Rock, Pop, Hip-hop, Oldies... Just so long as it's not stupid. Songs about guys and girls getting down at the club and taking their clothes off are right out. I don't listen to them because it's a waste of my time and ear space. Songs like "Obsession" by SHINee or "Survivor" by DBSK or "Chale Jaise Hawaien" from Mein Hoon Na... now those I can listen to, love, and appreciate.
I do watch anime, though not very much anymore. I watch a lot of the Japanese TV Dramas, though, as well as the occasional American or British murder mystery series. I LOVE Bollywood films, and Monty Python is my inspiration. In fact, my friends and I are planning to climb up the college sidewalk on the final day of this year's term.
I was homeschooled all my life. If you give me crap for that, then I'll give you crap right back. There is evidence showing the advantages of being homeschooled as opposed to public schooling. Socialization (or the projected lack thereof) has been proven to have no correlation with whether you were stuck in a classroom with fifty to a hundred kids the same age as you or if you were given one-on-one tutoring by the person who raised you and took you along to the grocery store to interact with both family members and strangers around the clock. One more thing about that -- You can't judge homeschooling like you judge public schooling, because it's extremely varied and unsystematic. There are hundreds or thousands of different ways to educate a child, and the USA only uses one of them in their public schools. In homeschooling, you can only judge a student individually. You can't say, "Well, all homeschoolers are..."
I speak Japanese, Hebrew and English, although my mother speaks Hindi, my father speaks German, and my little sister speaks Korean. I have three sisters and two brothers, by the way.

MY ROLEPLAY POLICY
Hi. These are my rules for 1x1's and various other kinds of roleplays where I am involved (I mostly do one-on-ones). I have a very busy schedule, so I thought that this would help make things a little clearer for those RPing with me for the first time. So please read, understand, and respect me. I would do the same for you.
1) If I am online and you are not, I will not wait around for you to come back online. I will make my one post and then get off. I am a college student, and I need to time manage.
2) If you have any problems with the way I post, take it up with me. Do not take it out on my roleplay character. It is not his or her fault that I have a busy life and missed a sentence or two while reading your post.
3) Ask me before taking control of my character in any way, be it puppetry, shock blast, hypnotism, or the laws of physics. I am reasonable, and I don't always say no. I just like to be asked first.
4) Do not attempt literal sexual intercourse or describe such actions in detail when you are roleplaying with me. If you do, there will be a three-stage warning system -- First, I will warn you via PMs. Second, I will get mad and warn you again through the OOC. Third, I will get very mad and terminate the roleplay, blanking all of my posts and deleting all records of my involvement with your character.
5) Do not lie to me. If you want to take a break from roleplaying, tell me! I could probably use a vacation too. Please do not leave me hanging. It's very rude, and nobody likes it when it's being done to them.
6) If you have a specific plot or character idea involving me or mine, let me know via either PM or OOC. I am always open, but I cannot cooperate with your ideas, no matter how good they are, if you don't tell me what they are.
7) Please do not curse out of turn or character. The asterisks can get pretty irritating, believe me, and I really don't want to have to read through a dozen expletives to get to the heart of the post matter.
8) Please let me know if you have any literary requirements regarding minimum paragraphs or literate quality. I always try to be as literate as is linguistically possible, and my paragraph average is 2-4 paragraphs per post.
9) Please know what you are writing about before you post. Know your reality. A person with a broken leg does not just get up and walk off without some feasible or acceptable explanation. Nobody save the cockroaches and Harrison Ford can survive an on-site atom bomb blast. These things are true to the laws of Nature in just about every universe you lay in, so please establish the rules of your universe before you go throwing something at me that I can't otherwise believe in.
10) If you advertise a character as a certain thing, do not let me down and change your character halfway through the story. This is so irritating! We all get bored with our characters sometimes, but no psychomorphing. PLEASE.
11) Do not get mad at me if I don't decorate my post. Decorating my posts is a bonus. I am very busy and may not have the time to go back and hunt down fifteen trillian different links just to make a few changes in the color scheme. Decorate yours if you want. It makes no difference to me.
12) If there are foreign phrases in your posts, please asterisk them and define them at the bottom of your post, unless I'm really not supposed to understand them or if the post is understandable without the translations for those who don't speak the language.
13) Most important of all -- Please be open with me! Let me know if you're not having fun, or if you have a problem with my writing style, or if you just want to try out something new. I'm game!
