About
My name is Melanie. I'm 18 years old, white, and female. I live in a place undisclosed to those who read this. If you know me well enough, you know where I live, savvy? I've a lot of important things in my life, but the top of that list is as follows: Family (demented as they may be), friends, and music. I love my friends like family and my music is my therapy. It helps me keep my sanity, or what is left of it anyway.
I don't really fit in to any 'clique.' I love video games (Zelda phuckin' rawks), rock and metal music, anime, I'm on the computer a lot, and I wear whatever I like and is comfortable, be it a tank top and bluejeans ot a t-shirt and Tripp pants. But I don't have any Tripp pants. So that kind of cancels it out. *shrug*
I'm normally a pretty nice person, unless of course you piss me off. I'm easy to get along with, easy to talk to, and easy to get to know. And I'm not very intimidating. It's hard to be intimidating when you're short (5'5''). Like a friend of mine once told me, I'm like a kitten on it's back with it's claws out. Pretty accurate.
Speaking of kittens, I'm a bit of a nature freak. No, I don't go to 'Save the Trees' or 'Save the [insert endangered animal]s' rallies, but I have hugged a tree before. I stop to smell the roses and other flowers, and I lurve my cat Onyx. And to go with the nature thing, I've an interest in crystals and gemstones, and
NOT because they're sparkly, colorful, or make good fashion accessories. I like them because they are natural beauties. By the way, I don't wear jewelry except a necklace. And I'm not fond of glitter or sparkles. Now shiny stuff, that's a different story.
I'm an avid reader, fantasy being my genre. Lately I've been deprived of any good books though. I also like to write, mostly short stories and role plays. Nothing extraordinary and nothing bad, just a hobby. I draw too, but I haven't produced anything I'm satisfied with for a long while. Artists-block? I dunno. Either way though, I kinda suck right now. No, not literally -_-
Dont ask me about religion. I'm agnostic, and I'm not going to change my views. I don't like organized religion, and I don't see the point in worshiping a god or gods that I don't know really exist. I'l admit, I'm a bit of a skeptic. So what, sue me. But hey, at least I'm open-minded. Moreso than most people these days. Which goes to show what aour world is becoming, and probably already is.
So yeah, me in a big ol' nutshell.
