Internet went out and ate my well worded reply stressed synopsis, bards are better healers than rangers, but neither are dedicated healers. Bards pester and confuse enemies and get free stuff from npcs, inluding pregnancies.

exactly. Bards are either crappy rogues or crappy sorcerers unless you take a lot of effort to build them a certain way. Fighters may be kind of lame skill wise (at least in pathfinder where there main deal is slowly becoming proficient in all weapon types), but average scores across the board still lets them do their job. If you don't have good charisma as a bard, you're kind of screwed. It'd be hilarious out of combat, but during fights you'd be severely hindered in how much inspiration you can give and spells you can cast and that brings the whole team down protecting your worthless a**. Even the first DM i had kind of agreed with me that bards aren't great, and basically only allowed us to have one in a one off side campaign of tomb of horrors mostly because the bard was a frogperson with an organ grinder. He did not allow the warforged bard that would be Daft punk.

You know it's a bad class when its main ability is to make other people better so they can make up for how bad they are. That, and sleeping with everything that moves, and several things that don't.

Weird orc is basically a jokey npc. I needed an excuse to use some accordion covers of 80s music I found on youtube. lol the only time he fought anything he missed his only swing with a sickle.

I hate them as a class or when they try to make them serious main characters (Edward from ff4, etc.) I'm fine with them as comedic npcs as long as they don't hinder the group with their stupid buffing or distraction spells. The bard in the 5e stream I watch is a decent character, but 5e gives bards some spells that actually do damage instead of debuting (thunderwave, crown of madness, etc.). I'd still never play one as my main pc, but as a silly side guy based off weird al? Hell yeah I will.

Like, maybe hachirou saved her as small kid, maybe she doesnt necessarily have to be a pirate but def a snotty kid, that hachirou has to watchout for and raise. We can even do a beta test with her as a small child to if you want.

Stuck with this kid. Maybe she has great and special powers or the last aura being or a princess or something special but a pain in the a**.

I wish someone would create an offspring oc to my halsey- I've thought of doing it to a couple rpers on here but didnt want to upset them.
I totally dig the rascallion princess. She sounds like a hoot to rp with! Sounds like a good story!
