• The glass is always half full to Trundlebugs. They enjoy swimming in shallow pools.
•The Trundlebug seems to be attracted to cold and wet weather, probably to prevent desiccation, and appears only in empty places where there is relative quiet. It is therefore a secretive species.
•Its highly specialized diet seems to be comprised entirely of pancakes and hot black tea. It also appears to prey upon cakes.
•Being as a bug, this particular species seems to enjoy studying other bugs as its job. It is therefore an Entomologist, or a bugologist.
•The name “Trundlebug” comes from Anne Mcaffrey’s Dragonriders of Pern series, where similar species have been observed to exist in a wide array of colors.
•Common names for this species are “Mu,” “Bani,” and “Hellgrammite,” though “Mu” is most widely used.
•Curiously, this insect enjoys devouring paper, but only of specific literature. Studies thus far have shown it favors Lord of the Rings, Dragonriders of Pern, and Saiyuki. It is also attracted to backlit screens that display Fire Emblem and Gundam Wing.
•Musical frequencies played by the artists Imogen Heap, Molly’s Revenge, Coldplay, Koh Otani, and Yasunori Mitsuda are extremely attractive to Trundlebugs and have been known to gather them in huge swarms. So far, known deterrents are Metal, Reggae, and most forms of loud noise.
•Trundlebugs are known to mate for life. This particular specimen has been with her own bug for 10 years, and cannot stand to be parted from her.
Didn't wanna derail the thread but I'm KIND of in the area, lol. I'm in PA!
But yeah I think I spent most of my weekend at the Dealer's Room, too! I went
a couple of years ago actually. I had no idea that Gaia attended Otakon. O_O
(But I don't think I cared about Gaia at that time...... so I guess I wouldn't have known.)
