Once upon a time, Adrian and I were once heart broken lovers. When we started chatting with each other both him and I were in relationships that weren't working and found ourselves heart broken. Seeking comfort, we ended up becoming good friends for a couple of months until both of us were single and ready to take the next step in our relationship.
On July 24, 2006 Adrian confessed his feeling for me and asked me out through a private message. I was thrilled! The guy whom I had only known for a couple of months became my first real Long Distance relationship. We waited for two years before meeting in person and during that time we used Yahoo! Messenger to see each other on Webcam and talked to each other every day over our cellphones. Adrian even bought our first cellphone plan together and got me a new phone just so we wouldn't eat through our parent's cellphone plans.
Then on October 26th, 2008 I finally got to hug and kiss the man I had fallen in love with. He came down for my 18th birthday and since then we've still been together. We made frequent trips between Washington and Nevada, going on trips through the mountains, hitting the downtown scenes in Seattle and Reno, checking out the food scenes, and going on all types of adventures! I even took him camping for his first time in Washington.
On November 22, 2011 Adrian asked me to marry him. He proposed to me in a funny way - he put my engagement ring in our champagne glasses and I nearly swallowed it! I spit it out and he proposed to me right then and there with my family, his mom, and his brother present. It was the best day of my life... so far.
We are still in the process of planning the wedding. It'll be sometime after I've finished my schooling (College) and we will probably have two ceremonies in both Nevada and Washington. It's going to be great!
Yeah its a natural lake from rocks of the mountain damming it up...but its at 11,600 feet and below freezing water...I dont think youd wanna swim in it xD
