Oi, ello. I'm 2D from the Gorillaz band. I had a bit of trouble with the interest tags so I just stuck all my stuff here. I mean, like, you'll see the info anyway, so why's it got to be down there?
Things I'm interested in...
Films: 'Zombie Land', 'Meantime', 'Scum', 'Made in Britain', 'Evil Dead', 'Zombie Flesh Eaters', Lucio Fulci's 'Zombie' and 'The Gates Of Hell'. Cronenberg's 'Rabid' and 'The Brood'. Abel Ferrar's 'Driller Killer' was cool too. And 'The Excorcist' and 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' are both great. And 'Cannibal Massacre'. But my favourite is still 'Dawn of the Dead'. George Romero's stuff is brilliant!
Books: Sometimes magazines are well crucial.
Musical Influences: The Specials, Talking Heads, Tom Tom Club, Can, Brian Eno, Grandmaster Flash, Massive Attack, Beach Boys, The Kinks, Bob Marley, The Who, Can, Wire, Sparks, Jam, Buzzcocks, The Beatles, X-Ray Spex, Shakatak, Magazine, Dukes of Stratosphear, P.I.L, The Stranglers, The Clash and Big Audio Dynamite. A Tribe Called Quest's up there and Sly and the Family Stone are swell. Augustus Pablo is basically my idol, but The 'Human' League is my favourite artist. And all that's just to name a few....
Hobbies/Interests: playing melodica... makin little tunes on my Hohner instrument. I c'n play a bit of guitar, now, too. I watch tons of zombie flics, and I sing. And I text a lot. too. Actually, I've even been learning guitar, so that'd add to all that.
