Awwww....sadly, i know someone else who's fed up and left too.
She (?) changes her status once in a while, so at least i know she checks in from time to time.
Get in touch? Sure!
skype is ciocco.latte (But i don't really skype that often...sweatdrop )
i tumble too: ciomblr.tumblr.com (it's more of an art dump really, but i'm slowly trying to learn how to contact/communicate with people via messages and comments and stuff...)
But like I said in other threads before, even if I don't like the direction this place is headed, I'm going down with this ship. I'm going to be here until the last day, be it tomorrow or ten years from now. I'm here to stay. I'm just not going to give them money until I feel there's been real progress.
It's really gone downhill in the past 2 months. Like... really taken a turn for the worse. The two things that really bother me about it all right now are:
1. Hyperinflation. We have finally arrived at the era of nearly 1 million gold for an MC. Unheard of just three months ago. The re-re-re-re-re-re-re release of an item called Flynn's Booty. They sell for $0.99 each and give you gold upon opening each. You can win up to 10 million gold in one of these. There is also an item that sells for $10 called Flynn's Chest. They have a guaranteed payout of at least 1 million gold each. That's the bottom line lowest you can possibly get: 1 million gold. The hyperinflation has caused the prices of everything to skyrocket out of control. Horns of the Demon I bought two years ago at 8 mil and have hovered at that price for years has suddenly jumped to over 30 million.
2. Gaia Staff outright stating that the #1 item causing this hyperinflation will not go away. They plan to re-release it again in the future, even though users site wide are expressing serious concern over the health of the gold economy. There is also extremely shoddy pricing on re-released old MCs. Runcible Spoon was $4.99 when first released and was recently re-released for $10. There was a Rosamund bundle which had 2 items. They were selling the bundle for $20 although each item in it only cost $4.99 when initially released.
Gaia has said the new prices are justified because of the high Marketplace value they have. Well... to be honest... a Sainte Ciel didn't have that high of a Marketplace price until THEY caused the massive inflation. So they're justifying a $30 recolor (When the last recolor was in a bundle with 3 other REIs and came with a $13 price tag) by saying, "hey, look at the Marketplace prices. An item that expensive deserves a high price tag."
