AboutHmm what to put here?
Well I guess we'll start with a face:
And yes, that is an OMG hat, one of my most prized possessions. This was taken last June in 2013... So I suppose that's old? Anyway, I thought it a fitting picture to post, as It projects my Love for Gaia-- to even still have that dusty old thing lol. But I wouldn't trade it for the world, it represents my childhood and more importantly the memories from those days.
I guess I'm breaking the one unwritten rule of the internetverse, in that you never really use your real name in game or in this case in your username, as there's always been this stigma of "oh noes people might find out where I live or who I really am." Frankly I'm at the point to where I couldn't really care less anymore. But for the record, here are all of the usernames I've ever used: "King of Terra", "Asakura Diasuke", " Swanky Tunes", "IRL Ken Doll", "Nightcore Nightmare", "Charli Shiin", "vikinghalex", "Bromance Novel", "Lord Kalek", "The Demon of Durem", "Nerd Cleave", "MetaI Princess","Pokemon Trainer Steven", " "HeIel", "Internet Friend", "Rickzter" (this is mainly so if you don't recognize me with this username, you might with one of my past names.)
I guess since you are reading this, obviously you are curious as to who, TKC is? TKC stands for my name, Thomas Kalek Cain. Now obviously Kalek would be a strange middle name to have, but it is in fact part of my house name before coming to America: Ziegler von Kalek. Don't even get me started on my name, or how incredibly complicated the details are. Oh and for even more complexity, I've also been known as Rickzter, because in my younger days I was quite the troll and I played many pranks, and so Trickster was born. (Rickzter is a bastardization of the word, in that "rickrolling" was popular back then. (it's a pretty lame story, but that's the gist of it.) I felt I should throw that out there so I could actually have some sense of identity, and so that maybe, I could be later identified as such somewhere else. Of course I suppose it doesn't really matter at this point, as following my departure I will severing all my connections...for a while, anyway.
Anyway, Thomas Cain is the name given to me when I (and mother) immigrated in 94' from my fatherland Luxembourg to escape persecution from Slovaks. The reason for that name in particular are a bit complicated, but in short: Thomas was chosen by mother because it was fairly common name and was basically a means to hide my foreign heritage. Cain on the other hand, is based off the judeo-christian figure Cain, from the story of Cain and Abel... anyway the story was a favorite of my mother's, who was incredibly religious.
Now as you may have possibly guessed, I am very interested in Electronic Dance Music, or EDM as is usually referred. I probably have over 5000 or 6000 single songs on my ipod, 700 or 800 albums, easily over 600 or so artists; which span over 30 different countries, and probably 2 or 5 Remixes of every song I have plus the cookie cutter pop one hit wonders that "pop" up every now and then, no pun intended. Pretty much I have a simply massive collection of EDM from all the "colours of the rainbow" so to speak. I am constantly scouring all the corners of both the universe and internetverse for new music. That said, as I said in my thread: "I will be focusing on my musical aspirations", as I have always been fascinated with EDM, but I'm not exactly a DJ yet. I have stood in a few times at my local gaybar/disco club simply playing prerecorded mixes (done by the resident dj), and yet when I'm in the booth I often think of the feel of what it would be like to actually do a live mix. Goosebumps run down my spine at the thought, but I'll get there someday. Anyways, as I said, I have some experience as a DJ, but I've never actually cut and sampled a song and made a remix out of it. My experience goes about as far as simple transition effects, and noize application. However in my spare time, I'll d**k around with Fruity Loops a bit to make baselines and beats, usually the design is quite amateurish and sounds shitty, but every now and then I'll get a catchy one, heh. But yeah, definitely that's one of my goals is to either become a resident dj, or to become a producer, and I sure as hell ain't ever going to give that dream up. Just you wait, I'll get there.... Someday. #bigcitydreams
Uhh what else?
Oh! Yeah, this will probably be my last time on Gaia after the contest ends. Or really my last time online period. I've said this before but for clarification, I have an addictive personality. Anything I do, I immediately get absorbed and over exposed to it until I either master it or until it ruins me. Gaia isn't exactly something you can master or beat, it's simply a place to hang out and shoot the breeze, and so Gaia has been nothing but a distraction for me. That's not to say I've not enjoyed this distraction--this fantasy, it's just it doesn't do anything for me that is practical. Granted I have enjoyed meeting many people, and their company; the time has simply come for me to give up such a childish venture, and in my maturity, I have finally realized this. #epiphany
Make no mistake, saying goodbye is difficult, especially when the people I'm saying it to are arguably some of the closest friends I've ever had, even if they are as one of my friends put it once: "Idc if you're just some guy off the internet I met in a fishing flash game by chance. I still love you." (July, you really hit it on the head there man, that simple text tugged at the heartstrings so much, and believe me the feel is mutual.) #bromancemoments
To the friends I've made over the years, if I can even truly call myself a friend after this: Please forgive my selfishness in making this decision, it's just my time to finally sleep;I've defeated the final boss, and the credits are finally rolling... #theend
But please please, never forget: you will never know how much I love you... each and every one of you. #neverforget
But fear not! You can still contact me offline. My number is 4233224510, however my phone is currently out of commission at the moment. #sadface
Oh and as an added bonus, I'll go ahead and tell you where I live, in case you want to snail mail me something LOL, or maybe you could visit me sometime. #pleasedontkillme

... Alright, I suppose that's everything, so this will be my final update, at least until I "come back to civilization" so to speak.
