My name is unimportant to you, but if you wish to know a bit about the young man behind the avatar - I'm an aspiring musician, a little more than halfway through my teens, and willing to sacrifice a normal life for a tough, give-all-and-get-s**t lifestyle. I enjoy music. It's my passion in life, and it gives me more than a will to live. I'm a very open-minded person. I see everything from both sides of a story, and I'm not one to kick a dog when it's down. (Nor does it mean I'll pick it up and risk rabies) I'm willing to try anything, for we only live once. (I certainly intend on trying psychedelics and a few other recreational drugs for a bit of a "mental journey"..) I believe in things that are backed up with logic, reason, and proof. (Either physical or logical proof.)

Religion? I believe in the flying spaghetti monster. Why? Read the last line a few times. Make a mantra out of it, and ponder. Now, take what I've just said and think about it's nature. That's your answer to what my beliefs are.

As for music, I enjoy most music. I try not to confuse myself with sub-genres, though I try to acknowledge obvious things that some people are stupid enough to think, such as claiming that a band like Electric Wizard is simply "rock".. (It's stoner/doom metal) Rock is a very broad genre, but few bands that are in that major category are simply "rock" bands anymore.

So, I enjoy grunge most of all (It's always been a favorite, as it was what got me really into music), psychedelic/space rock, progressive rock, shoegaze/dreampop, psychobilly, ambient drone, krautrock, jazz, punk, classic rock, surf rock, death metal, viking metal, alternative rock, thrash metal, stoner/doom metal, and I'm getting into post-rock now.

"Indie" is not a genre. It might have become a name for a specific style of music now, because of so many musically-retarded people ignorantly thinking that it's a genre and so many musicians going along with it, that it might as well be a genre. (Although it was never a genre in my eyes, and never will be.) To me, indie means that they're an independent band. And, lots of bands that don't fit any "indie" sound are indie if they don't have a label.
