My terrible past, and my unknown future.
This main contain spoilers for those who have not yet completed the Tales of Symphonia game.
I am Kratos Aurion. The Silent Judgement.
For thousands of years I wandered aimlessly after aiding my young companion, the Hero Mithos, in settling the Great Kharlan War. I am one who is guided by fate, and that same fate has brought me through peril, victory, but overall... misfortune.
I am one with a dark past.
Upon losing my humanity to become an angel, I had lost all emotion. I did not care for life as I once did the many years before. No. At this point, as long as justice was rectified, then that was truly sufficient. However, upon meeting a special someone, did my feelings ressurect.
And her name,
was Anna.
She was merely an exeriment of the Angelus Project which Kvar, one of the lesser Five Desian Grand Cardinals was conducting for Lord Yggdrasill.
And I was one of the Four Seraphim of Cruxis.
We had pushed those petty titles aside and defied our boundaries. Constantly fleeing for our lives. In due time, as fate would have it; we were in love, and blessed with a child.
Experiencing love for the first time was truly a gift for me. But, like all good things, it came to an end. A terrible end which still pains me to even remember. Having her Cruxis Crystal removed lacking a Key Crest, Anna turned into a monster. During that time, she had begged me to kill her, so she may be free.
I did as she wished.
But in turn, she, Lloyd and our protozoan pet, Noishe, could not be found after the battle. Having lost my meaning to life, I gave in and returned to Cruxis.
As fate would smile upon this undeserving sinner,
I was re-united with my son fifteen years later. I had bretrayed him and his companions, but I had atoned for my sin and fought against Cruxis and the Desians alongside them.
When the two worlds were finally connected once more, I said a final farewell to my only son, and fled to Derris-Kharlan. For I still had many things to atone for.
Don't die before I do, Lloyd...
