3. If I like you enough (or that I already know you,) I just might direct you to my main account.

Character:

Porter Morrow

Life started out normal for Porter; a small family, a small house, a small town. He never expected to get anywhere in life and usually lingered in the town's library to find something entertaining to do. One day, a teacher from the local high school noticed that Porter took a liking to the sound of classical music, and, with permission from the parents, tutored him personally after school.

Porter later on went to college and graduated with the title of Doctor of Musical Education. With his goal accomplished, he became an adjunct college professor, and taught his lessons for the local college and for private tutoring.
Considered a gentleman by his peers and adored by many secret admirers, his life seemed perfect - until a poisoned drink nearly resulted in his death.

After the near-death experience, Porter became a changed man; instead of hosting charitable events, he squandered most of the money building a fantastically unique book store, and prefered to be left alone in his mansion, which he had inherited from his grandparents.

By morning he would teach music, by night he would manage the book store, and during his moments of seclusion he would find the time to work as a freelance novelist. With such an exhaustingly busy lifestyle, he slowly began to accept the help of other people to maintain the book store.

At the mansion and at the book store, Porter's ever-loyal companion, Faust, manages his position as guard dog.
