I love making avatars. While my looks are diverse and varied, I think there are now a few items that have more or less become signature-type items for me.
Hair: Strange and odd hairstyles. I love the wigs, especially ones like the Elemental Wind hair and the Biancamella pulled taffy wig. Of course there are others, like the Sugarplum fairy wig as well, but you get the idea.
Stars: Omg. I looove the forehead stars. Especially the original star pose from the Nartian Rock (with or without the grey halo <3) I think it's because they remind me of the Latvian Freedom Monument:
Oftentimes I use the stars to suggest a glow about an avatar/character's face or skin. It's rare I think, to my mind, that the star is literally floating there. Think of it like the way halos were used in medieval times to suggest divinity. Other times it's to balance out color more than anything else--and the fact that I am loathe to create an avatar without one of these stars.
Antlers: Whether it be from the Carols or Blessings, I love antlers. To me they are a unique alternative to some of the more popular horn poses. (Though I do love to use horns as well--from many items.) Oisin's Blessing is the only one missing from my collection. I covet those remaining antlers ; A;
Artemis Chill: One of my favorite items and my favorite Greecian Goddess of old! I probably wear the sandals most often, but I love all the poses it has to offer. Well.. maybe not the dog so much. He's kinda "meh."
When building an avatar sometimes a character develops, and sometimes it's purely about aesthetics. Most often, the character or personality I ascribe to the avatar comes after the fact.
My activity on Gaia waxes and wanes, depending on what's going on in my real life. Over the last few years, I've mostly lurked and stayed in a few places/guilds.

Alchemy is a rip-off btw. Better saving for what alchemy items you want rather than blowing actual cash and gold to get to the highest level. That "Nice Suit for Work" is an alchemy item... it's no surprise that it's 27.8m average a piece XD My goal is to save 250m. Not going to so well tho. Already blew like 15m in a day.
