Since his teenage years, Jonathan has been interested in nature and wildlife. When he was sixteen years old, it was his parents' gift of a Canon EOS Rebel XS that got him interested in pursuing photography as a hobby and career.
Born and raised in the small town of Waynesburg, Kentucky, it is here where the majority of his photographs have been created. He enjoys photographing wildlife in various national parks, The Great Smoky Mountains National Park being his favorite of all that he has visited. He wants to someday travel to Katmai, Alaska and to the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, East Africa.
Whether it is the deer in his own hometown, bears in the Great Smoky Mountains, or nature scenes in the Daniel Boone National Forest, Jonathan always tries to capture the pureness and emotion of his subjects.
